Y/n's Pov

I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of my decision settling on my shoulders. It was time to break the silence and address the topic that had been on my mind for days. I turned to Alastor, who was still holding me close, his warmth and presence a soothing balm for my restless thoughts.

"I figured it out," I said softly, my voice trembling slightly with the gravity of what I was about to reveal.

Alastor tilted his head slightly, a hint of confusion crossing his features. His dark eyes locked onto mine, searching for answers. "Figured what out, darling?"

I took another steadying breath and began to explain. "While I was at the castle, I found some books in the library. One of them was about Morningstar soul contracts. It mentioned that only the eldest Morningstar could change a soul contract, and it described how a Morningstar could make a deal with their soulmate."

Alastor's brow furrowed in concentration as he listened, the confusion in his eyes slowly giving way to curiosity. "And what did you discover about these contracts?"

I continued, my heart pounding as I spoke. "The book explained that when a Morningstar finds their soulmate, they can grant them a part of their soul through a deal. The Morningstar must be willing to give part of their soul to their soulmate, and in return, they belong to each other. It's not just about the soul, though. It is about power and connection. The soulmates can feel each other, and their power grows stronger together."

Alastor's eyes widened slightly as he absorbed the information. He was silent for a moment, and I could see the wheels turning in his mind. "So, you're suggesting that we..."

"Yes," I interrupted gently. "I want us to do this. I know we've only recently started dating, but if we make this deal, it would mean that you'd have more freedom. Your soul wouldn't be just under my mother's control. It would belong to me, and mine would belong to you."

I watched as Alastor processed my words. His expression was a mix of surprise and contemplation. "Y/n, this is a significant step. I understand the desire to help me, but I don't want you to feel obligated. This is something that could change everything for both of us."

I reached up and cupped his cheek, my fingers gently brushing against his skin. "I'm not doing this out of obligation. I'm doing it because I want to. I want us to be connected in a way that no one else can understand. I want us to have a bond that goes beyond anything else. And I want you to have the freedom you deserve."

Alastor's gaze softened as he looked at me. "And you're sure about this? You're willing to give a part of yourself to me?"

I nodded firmly. "Yes, I am. I've thought about it a lot, and I believe this is the right thing for us. I want us to be able to feel each other's presence, to share our strengths and weaknesses. I want us to be more than just lovers; I want us to be soulmates in the truest sense. Just like we are destined to be."

A slow, genuine smile spread across Alastor's face. It was the kind of smile that only appeared when he was with me, a smile that spoke of his love and trust. Not only that, but he turned off his radio sound. "You've given this a lot of thought. I can see that you're determined. If you're truly ready to make this commitment, then I'm willing to do it too."

I felt a surge of relief and joy at his words. "Thank you, Alastor. It means everything to me that you're willing to take this step with me. We'll do this together, and we'll face whatever comes our way."

He wrapped his arms around me, holding me close in a warm embrace. "We will. And I promise you, Y/n, I'll cherish this bond between us. I'll make sure that you never have to regret this decision."
