Averyn's POV
When the bomb exploded, I instinctively grabbed the hook and ziplined down towards the stage.

I grabbed onto Zuo Hang's hand and pulled them to the bottom of the stage.

"Avery?!" Zeyu shouted.

"I need you guys to find a safe place to hide. There are more bombs and Evans trying to locate them all. Only one has detonated there are four left."

Boom

"okay three left. Now go go go.." I said pushing them to the dressing rooms.

Just as I was about to let go of Zuohang,he held a firmer grip.

"Wait Averyn."

"what?" I said as I was more anxious to get back onto the scene.

"I'm sorry.. My manager made me... When this ordeal is over, I promise to set the record straight."

Before I could respond, he grabbed me and kissed me.

It was the longest 5 seconds of my life. I didn't know how to react but I didn't stop until he pulled away.

" Wait Zuohang.. Give this to them and ask them to wear it for better communication. "I said as I passed him more in ear monitors.

He nodded.

" Stay safe, "He said before leaving.

As soon as he was out of sight, I immediately grabbed the microphone.

"Agent Averyn, there's another one on the top left near the exit doors and another right on the stage near the curtains. I'm trying to locate the last one now." Evan said through the in ear monitors.

"Copy that. I'll proceed with evacuation first." I replied.

"Also Averyn.. As much as I love your relationship,please remember the in ears picks up everything.. Including pdpa."

My face instantly turns red as I realised that he had heard my kiss with Zuo Hang.

"Those on the upper level. Please exit by the doors on the right. The left is to be cordoned off for investigations. Please exit in an orderly manner."I instructed.

I watched as a stampede occurred as soon as they heard me.

I sighed and rolled my eyes but there was no time to care about who exits as there was another ticking bomb on the stage.

I quickly ran to locate it. I saw the bag right next to the curtains. That could have been massive.. As I shuddered thinking about what could have happened to the trainees.

I opened the bag and detonated the bomb and was about to return to search for the missing one.

"This way... Please line up. Orderly." A voice called out.

I turned around and saw Zhu zhi in guiding the people at the exit. On the upper levels, Mu Zhicheng was guiding as well and Zuohang and Zhang Zeyu helped to cordone off the left side.

The rest were scattered around the stadium as if they were looking for something.

"Hang jiang, bottom level is cleared." Zhang Junhao said in the in ear monitor.

"Top level too."Yu Yuhan said.

" Backstage is all cleared. "Zhang zimo said.

"But there is still a missing one.. Where could it be."Zhangji said.

That was it. I had caught sight of the flashing light right at the top of the screen.

" There's no way.."I mumbled.

I turned back and saw that everyone had left except for the trainees.

" Evan.. I've located the last one.. I need all of you out of here now.In case anything goes wrong. "I said into the in ear monitor.

" Avery.. Whatever you are thinking we can work together.. Don't do this."Evan said as he grew worried.

" Evan as your superior, this is an order. Get the trainees and leave."

" Copied."Evan said, defeated.

I could see the trainees wanting to fight back but Evan had subdued them and pushed them out of the exit.

" Yilin! "Zuo Hang screamed as I began to climb the screen.

" Evan get him out."

"No..No..Yilin!"Zuo Hang began frantically screaming as Evan had began to push him out.He was the last of the trainees. I heard the final lock as I was now alone in the stadium.

I wiped the silent tears that had crept onto my face as I began to climb. With a swift stroke of my knife, the screen came loose.

"Yilin.. You don't have to do this.. We can all run.. Please don't do this.. I don't want to lose you again." Zuo Hang pleaded.

I didn't respond as I knew if I spoke, he'd convince me.. I just wanted to be selfish for once..

But I couldn't.

I jumped off the top of the screen as I slashed all the wires and hoped for the best.

Then it was dead silence as I heard the ambulance wails and the impact of the floor.

"Averyn!Averyn!"I heard someone scream as my mind had a familiar fogginess cloud my vision.
