Jiwon just let out a sigh. She never stays in bed for a long time, but today is different. She stayed on the bed all day long. She just moves when she needs to go to the toilet.
"Ya! Rachel!!" Someone opens the door, and a woman around her age with dirty blond hair gives a worried look. Jiwon never expects her best friend to visit her today because of how busy she is.
"Gosh Krystal! Can you please stop calling me by that name?" Krystal rushed to her bed and checked her body, ignoring what Jiwon just said to her. For her, Jiwon's condition is the most important thing right now.
"Sis, you need to stop." a young woman interjected, rolling her eyes at Krystal.
Meanwhile, Jiwon just nodded in agreement.
"Oh, come on, Giselle, she got lost in the jungle, broke her leg, and fainted in a day." Krystal can see Giselle just sigh and move to Jiwon, who welcomed the gesture warmly.
"It has been a while, unnie." Giselle said, enjoying the affection from Jiwon, who treated her like a real sister.
"I miss you too, kiddo," Giselle chuckled, knowing Jiwon has a special pet name for her and she misses that so much.
"She is no longer our kiddo, Rachel." Krystal said, patting Giselle's head. Giselle let her do so without protest.
"Do you still feel the pain?" Giselle asked after taking a glance at Jiwon's leg.
"Not really, but the cast sometimes itches," Jiwon replied, and Giselle smiled. Despite being younger, she often seemed more mature than Krystal.
"We bring your favorite pastries, we hope you like them." Krystal said, placing a bag of pastries on the table.
"Gosh! Thank you! you don't know how I suffer eating all the hospital food." Jiwon took out and took a bite of the pastry, Krystal and Giselle just let out a giggle while watching Iwon savor the pastry.
The door opened again, and a man in military uniform walked in carrying a paper bag. Jiwon's face lit up when she saw him.
"Ops, sorry, my mistake." the man said, preparing to leave.
"Soohyun-shi!" Jiwon called out, unable to hide her smile. Krystal and Giselle exchanged glances.
"I thought nobody was here, I'll come back later." Soohyun about to leave but Jiwon stopped him.
"No need, they just pay a visit," Jiwon said, gesturing to Krystal and Giselle.
"Annyeonghaseyo" Soohyun bowed to both of them, and they returned the gesture.
"She is Krystal, and the younger one is Giselle, they are siblings." Jiwon introduced Krystal and Giselle to him.
"Well, unnie, since you have a visitor, I think we should leave now." Giselle is not blind, sensing that Jiwon and Soohyun needed some time alone.
"Yeah, we still need to finish a few designs, we will visit you later." Jiwon just pouts when the siblings already want to leave, but she understands their work, being famous fashion designers makes the siblings drown in their work appreciating that they made time for her despite their busy schedules.
"Don't worry, unnie, I'll visit you tomorrow morning until night. I will finish my job by tonight." Giselle promised, making Jiwon smile.
"But please, don't stress and pressure yourself." Jiwon cautioned, Giselle nodded before hug Jiwon again, she kisses Jiwon cheek make both of them gigles, old habits that hard to drop. Krystal does the same; they share cheek kisses, and both of the siblings leave the room.
