The rumors about Jaewon's disappearance spread like wildfire. Whispers circulated that Jiwon might be the prime suspect, but the notion was quickly dismissed. How could such an esteemed doctor kidnap her own colleague? Besides, CCTV footage confirmed they hadn't left the restaurant together. The rumors about Soohyun and Jiwon being secretly married only bolstered her alibi—no one believed that the gentle, caring Jiwon could harbor a dark side.

Little did they know, Blue Moon had orchestrated everything perfectly. Jaewon hadn't just disappeared—he had been erased. To the world, it seemed as if he had quietly left the country, vanishing without a trace.

But Jiwon sensed something was amiss the moment the rumors began. She could feel the weight of eyes on her, shadowing her every move. People followed her, watching her like hawks, waiting for her to slip up. They believed if they blinked, she'd vanish. But instead of feeling fear, Jiwon embraced the attention. She knew their leader was waiting for her to make a mistake. It was all part of the game, and she intended to play it to the fullest.

Her phone vibrated. The screen lit up with a notification from Soohyun. Jiwon's lips curved into a knowing smile as she dialed his number.

"Hello, honey," she greeted, her voice sweet as honey, the smile evident even through the phone.

"How's your day, baby?" Soohyun asked, his eyes scanning documents Haein had just delivered, though his mind was clearly on her.

"I've got another mission," Jiwon replied casually, glancing at the mission details spread across her desk. It was a lengthy one—this time, she'd be heading to Iran. She had already asked Eunjae about it, but her colleague seemed clueless, claiming she hadn't received any orders regarding the mission.

"Iran, huh?" Soohyun guessed, his tone casual, though Jiwon could sense the gears turning in his mind. She chuckled softly.

"I'll be heading out next week," she said, her gaze flicking to the red light in the corner of her room—the CCTV someone had installed while she was away. She knew they were watching, but she pretended not to notice. Everyone still believed in her innocent facade, and she needed to keep it that way.

Just as she was about to say more, someone burst into her office, panting heavily.

"Lieutenant! Emergency!" The soldier's voice cracked with desperation.

Jiwon ended the call immediately, her demeanor shifting in an instant. She followed the soldier without hesitation, her senses on high alert.

"The game starts now," Soohyun muttered to Haein, smirking as he leaned back in his chair. Haein returned the smirk with a knowing nod.

When Jiwon arrived at the scene, her heart sank. A soldier lay on a stretcher, his face ashen and his body drenched in sweat. It was Seo Woojin. Jiwon's breath hitched as she moved closer, her mind racing.

"Seo Woojin?" she asked, her voice laced with urgency.

Woojin's eyes were barely open, his breathing ragged. Jiwon immediately took charge. She pushed through the crowd of medics, her hands steady as she assessed his condition. She barked orders, her voice firm and precise.

"Get me a blood transfusion kit, stat!" she commanded. "And I need a full set of antibiotics—now!"

The medics scrambled to comply, their movements frantic. Jiwon worked swiftly, her hands deftly inserting an IV line and administering the necessary medications. Sweat trickled down her face as she worked tirelessly, her focus unbreakable. Hours passed in a blur of adrenaline and concentration. Every so often, she glanced at Woojin's pale face, her resolve hardening. She wouldn't let him die—not today, not ever. He was part of Blue Moon, and she wasn't going to let them take him down so easily.
