Soohyun took a deep breath before opening the door. Laughter filled the room, and he knew Jiwon always had a special bond with Karina and Giselle. He turned the doorknob and stepped inside, where the three of them turned their attention to him. Jiwon's grin was unmistakable.

"Oppa!" Jiwon called out excitedly. Soohyun walked over to the bed, where Giselle and Karina were hugging Jiwon, their heads resting on her shoulder.

"Oppa, look at them! They don't want to have dinner with me," Jiwon pouted, causing the young women to giggle.

"As much as I'd love to have dinner with you, I have a date tonight, unnie," Giselle said, glancing at Jiwon, who was still sulking. Soohyun felt a pang of nostalgia, he missed seeing this side of Jiwon, especially since it had been a while.

"Why don't we have dinner together? You can contact your boyfriends and reschedule," Soohyun suggested, aware of how much Jiwon wanted to spend time with them, particularly Karina, who had just arrived from Denmark and come straight to the hospital. Working as a doctor abroad was no easy feat. She needs to finish all her job first before fly.

"It's okay, Oppa. They're grown-ups, and I want them to enjoy their date peacefully." Jiwon flashed a bright smile that took everyone by surprise. It was a smile that hadn't been seen since her coma had erased half of her memories. The group spent some time together, with Soohyun using the opportunity to finish his work.

"See you tomorrow, unnie." The girls kissed Jiwon on the cheek before saying their goodbyes to Soohyun and leaving the room.

"Oppa~" Jiwon's voice brought Soohyun's attention back. He approached her bed with a smile.

"Yes, my precious?" Soohyun gazed at her lovingly.

"I'm bored," Jiwon pouted, her puppy eyes making him chuckle.

"You know we can't go anywhere," Soohyun said, glancing at her leg. Jiwon pouted even more.

"Oppa, carry me!" Jiwon opened her arms, waiting for him to pick her up. Soohyun felt a wave of déjà vu. She had asked the same thing before her critical condition.

"Carry me around the hospital flower garden, I heard your hospital has beautiful flower garden," Jiwon said excitedly. Soohyun struggled to hold back his tears. Her request was a poignant reminder of a past moment.

"Oppa?" Jiwon lowered her arms, noticing his silence.

"Oh!" Soohyun quickly approached her and took her hand.

"How do you want me to carry you?" Soohyun asked, and Jiwon pointed to her back, indicating she wanted a piggyback ride.

Jiwon wrapped her arms around Soohyun's neck, and he carefully lifted her, making sure her injured leg was secure and she was comfortable.

"Are you ready?" Soohyun asked, and Jiwon nodded.

"Airplane ready to take off!" Soohyun declared with a playful tone as he began to move. The sight of the usually intimidating Soohyun smiling with Jiwon on his back astonished everyone. In the VVIP area, where few people were present, Soohyun decided to run.

"WAHHH HAHAHAHHA!" Jiwon's laughter echoed through the corridor as Soohyun ran, her joy palpable. Though everything felt rushed, Soohyun's presence made her feel at ease, as if she had returned home. They walked through the flower garden, and Jiwon couldn't stop praising its beauty, forgetting that Soohyun had created it for her.

"This feels like heaven," Soohyun thought as he carried her, savoring the closeness and struggling to keep his emotions in check.

"Oppa, gomawa mianhae," Jiwon said, breaking the silence.

"Wae?" Soohyun asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Because of me, you have to stay at the hospital, do your job, and carry me around." Despite enjoying Soohyun's presence, Jiwon felt guilty for being a burden.

"What are you talking about, Kim Ding? I told you I'll carry you for the rest of my life. You are not a burden. You're my precious," Soohyun reassured her, irritated by the idea that Jiwon felt like a burden.

"Hyunie Oppa," Jiwon murmured, tightening her hold around his neck and resting her head comfortably.

"I don't know why I feel so at peace with you," she said, her voice trailing off as she grew sleepy.

"You're like a missing piece of my heart," Jiwon mumbled. She fell asleep in Soohyun's arms, and he smiled sadly as he carefully carried her back to her room.

...

Outside the hospital, loud thuds echoed from the gym. Soohyun was punching a bag with all his might, shirtless and in military cargo pants.

"How long has he been at it?" Taehyung asked Haein, who had been observing Soohyun.

"An hour," Haein replied curtly.

"Krystal Noona said she would come with the girls. Should we stop him?" Taehyung inquired. Haein just nodded a few times for the information is thinking about the right decision and answer for Taehyung.

"Let him be. They're used to seeing him like this," Taehyung was informed.

"Oppa!" Krystal's call interrupted Soohyun's focus. He stopped punching and approached Taehyung, who handed him an energy drink. Haein signaled the guards to take down the punching bag and open it.

"OH MY GOD!" Krystal gasped as they revealed a severely beaten man. Karina and Giselle looked on with stoic expressions, while Krystal reacted with disgust.

"Is this him?" Karina asked Haein, who nodded in response. The women donned gloves and prepared their knives.

"I need to leave now, Jiwon is waiting for me," Soohyun said, meanwhile Giselle stepping on the man's face as they prepared for further torture. Soohyun headed for the stairs, passing two men engaged in conversation.

"Hyung!" Soohyun clapped them on the shoulder.

"Your angels are quite mad. Make sure they give that guy the punishment he deserves but don't kill him yet, he deserves a few more torture before dead." Jeno and Yeonjun nodded in agreement.

...

At the hospital, Soohyun peeked into Jiwon's room, where she greeted him with a bright smile.

"Oppa~" She opened her arms for a hug. Soohyun quickly embraced her and placed a plastic bag on the coffee table.

"You bought dinner?" Jiwon asked eagerly as Soohyun began to unpack the food.

"I brought tteokbokki," Soohyun said with a bright smile. He looked endearing with his hair down and wearing a knitted sweater. Little did Jiwon know what he had been up to before he visits her.

"Wow!" Jiwon exclaimed, enjoying the food. She declared it the best part of her day especially Soohyun feed her.

They spent the evening together, and Soohyun offered to stay until she was fully recovered, he even take a break from military training, though he was already excelling.

"Oppa, can you sleep with me tonight?" Jiwon asked, feeling a bit self-conscious but wanting Soohyun's presence.

"Are you sure?" Soohyun asked, finishing applying cream to Jiwon's face. Since waking up, Jiwon had become incredibly clingy, and Soohyun had been attentive to her needs.

Jiwon nodded enthusiastically. She made space for Soohyun beside her on the bed. He climbed in, and the bed was just big enough for both of them.

Soohyun lay on his side, admiring Jiwon, who could only turn her head to see him since she couldn't sleep on her side.

"It's getting late, my precious. You should sleep now," Soohyun said, turning off the bedside light.

"I don't think I can," Jiwon mumbled, looking at him.

Soohyun moved closer and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Goodnight, my precious Ding," he whispered, kissing her forehead. Jiwon's eyes grew heavy, and she gradually fell asleep, content and secure.
