Soohyun barely moves, the cuts, bruises, and after-effects of the surgery painfully limit his movements. His every breath is a reminder of the recent trauma. Jiwon chuckles softly, amused by his stubbornness as he struggles to shift in the bed.

"Stop it, oppa, you're just going to hurt yourself more," she chides gently, though her eyes betray a deeper worry. Soohyun, stubborn as always, just pouts at her.

"I'm doomed," he mumbles, more to himself than to her. His thoughts are a tangled mess, knowing that his enemies might soon aim for him-or worse, for Jiwon. The very thought tightens the knot in his chest.

Soohyun's voice, tender yet curious, pulls him from his dark reverie. "My precious," he says, tilting his head as he studies her expression. Her innocent face contrasts sharply with the heavy atmosphere that surrounds them. "You know, you once mentioned the letter, right?" He asks, her brow furrowing slightly as she recalls the cryptic warning she had received.

Jiwon nods, her mind racing. "Yeah, the letter told me to be careful with you guys." Jiwon's tone is light, but Soohyun feels a cold sweat prickling at the back of his neck. His mind flashes to a few potential culprits-Wuhan, his relentless business rival, or Jaewon, a name he wishes he could forget.

"Ignore it," Soohyun says, his voice laced with urgency. "They just want to trick you. They know you're slowly gaining your memory, and they'll use that against you." His worry is palpable, but Jiwon seems more frustrated than concerned.

"Oppa! Can you just tell me the truth? I feel so dumb right now!" Her frustration boils over, and she crosses her arms, glaring at him. It's not the first time she's felt like she's in the dark, and she's tired of it. All their family members have echoed the same vague reassurances, and it's wearing her patience thin.

Soohyun's eyes widen, panic flickering in them. "This is not going to be easy for you to accept. You might end up hating us or, at worst, killing us!" He hadn't meant to let that slip, but the fear of losing her, or worse, driving her to violence, is too real.

"Kill you guys?" Jiwon's voice is tinged with disbelief, but there's an edge to it. She smirks, annoyed but also determined. "I'll do it if you guys are on the bad side," she declares before turning on her heel and storming out of the room, completely unaware that Karina and Giselle have overheard every word. The duo are very good at hiding.

"We need to find that fucking letter," Karina hisses, her voice low but seething with anger. Her fists clench tightly, her nails digging into her palms as she fights to control the rage bubbling within. "I swear I'm going to kill the sender myself."

Giselle, more reserved, mumbles, "The history is going to repeat itself..." Her voice is barely above a whisper, but the weight of her words hangs heavy in the air. Without another word, they leave, careful not to alert Soohyun or Jiwon that they've been eavesdropping.

...

"Shibal!" Haein's voice roars through the room as he hurls a glass against the wall. It shatters on impact, pieces scattering across the floor. His face is a mask of fury, eyes blazing as he glares at Woojin.

"Are you sure, Woojin-a?" Haein demands, his tone sharp. He needs confirmation, even if the truth burns him. Woojin, calm but firm, nods. His confidence is unshakable; the evidence he's gathered is indisputable.

"What just happened?" Karina and Giselle exchange wary glances as they step into the room. Haein's rare outburst has them on edge, and the shattered glass only amplifies their concern.

"They aim for the Queen." Haein's words are a dagger, slicing through the tense silence. Karina and Giselle's eyes widen, shock and horror washing over their faces.
