I run out of my house, gulping down at least 2 gallons of coffee. "Bye, father!" I call.

The bus doors open and I slow down my pace to a fast walk. I laugh silently when I see the dead looks on Ashlyn and Ben, but quickly stop when I realize I probably look the same, too.

I take a seat next to Ashlyn, smiling at her, Ben and Aiden, though Aiden is the only one who smiles back.

"Last night was rough, huh?" Aiden chuckles.

I nod in response. "Didja finish all the homework?"

He pulls out his homework, showing me his familiar messy handwriting.

"All done!" He beams, causing me to smile too.

"Good morn...ing...?" Mr. Thomas looks at me, Aiden, Ben, and Ashlyn worriedly as we walk in looking like zombies.

"'Morning, Mr. Thomas." I smile. Everyone takes their seats and as Mr. Thomas starts todays lecture, I feel my heavy eyelids close...

RING

I jump awake at the sound of the bell, looking at the others to see that most of them fell asleep, too.

Tyler, who sits behind me, walked up to me. "C'mon. Aiden is telling Ashlyn we're all going to talk about stuff."

Tyler's words barely make it through my head as I stare at him. I groan and drop my head down. "Just five more minutes..."

Not even ten seconds pass when Ben and Tyler seize my arms and pull me up, taking away my precious sleeping time.

Awkward. Once again, our meeting was awkward. Ashlyn, Aiden, and Ben sat on one side of the table while Logan, Taylor, Tyler and I set on the other side.

Everyone wasn't eating their lunch except Logan and I, though my father refused to let me eat school lunch after I got a violent stomach flu.

So everyone either stared at their food or broke their parent's rules and played with it (cough cough, Aiden).

"I think we should go back to Savannah." Tyler blurts suddenly.

Everyone looks up at Tyler, taking a moment to let his words process in their heads.

I though everyone agreed it was too dangerous...?" Logan said nervously, looking to the side.

"So what? We're just supposed to let things stay the way they are?" Tyler grumbled.

"I'd rather be semi-stuck than permanently stuck." Admitted Ashlyn.

"Well maybe if you would have told us the truth from the beginning, we wouldn't be stuck at all!"

"No offense Tyler, but if Ashlyn told us what she saw... you probably would've said she was crazy." I mumble.

"And I already explained why I didn't-" Ashlyn starts, but Aiden interrupts her.

"Aren't you one to talk. You're the one that brushed it off as a prank and walked off. If she had said anything, would you have even believed her?" He turns and narrows his blood red eyes at Tyler. "With your personality, I seriously doubt it."

SLAM!

"Whether I would have believed it or not, she should have said something!" Tyler yells suddenly. Everyone watches him, visibly sweating, as he continues yelling. "Now we're stuck in some demonic dimension, running away from flesh- eating deadly creatures! I've lose count of how many near death experiences I've had, none of us have slept in days, we can't tell our parents or any—"

BAM

I jump and turn to Ben, who brings his pointer finger to his mouth, making a 'shush' motion.

I grab Tyler's shoulder and make him sit down, grabbing his hand and rubbing small circles on it to calm him down.

Tyler looks down slightly, making his bangs cover his face. "If we don't back to Savannah where this cycle begun... then what else are we supposed to do?" He states.

I mean, he isn't wrong says a voice in my head. I look up and see that every else seems to be pondering about what Tyler said.

But we can't risk dying. Who knows what else can be in that realm...

My mind rewinds back to before we were stuck in this hell-hole, when everything was almost normal.
