We Almost Die From the Deadly Creatures

I let out a scream, "Ashlyn, Taylor!" I yank my leg from the creature and feel a terrible burning from my calf.

"(Y/N)?? Are you ok?" Ashlyn's voice yells in the darkness.

"T-the creature. It's under—" i gasp and we all go silent when we see the bony face looking up with a terrifying smile. We all scream and Ashlyn slams her foot against the thing's face.

"C'mon! It won't be knocked out for long." Ashlyn urged, grabbing Taylor and I by the arm.

I stand up and wince at my leg. Blood was oozing out of it. I limp slightly behind them, shutting the door behind us.

"Wait-! What about the other girls?" Taylor asks.

"They would've hear us. We screamed twice, no one is that much of a deep sleeper." I say worriedly.

Suddenly Tyler bursts in. "Taylor!"

"Ty?!" Taylor gasps. She runs into her brothers arms.

I limp towards them. "Tyler-" I begin but I didn't get to finish as Tyler pulls me into a hug with him and Taylor. I hold my breath in shock. He had been stony to me for years, why was he so soft all of a sudden?

"Oh it was them. Why are they running?" I hear Aiden say.

Tyler looks at Ashlyn. "What's going on?!"

"Something's in the—" Ashlyn starts but then she turns around quickly.

We all turn and my eyes widen at the creature lurk out of the hall. I feel my blood go cold.

"(Y/N)—" Tyler says but he was interrupted by Ashlyn.

"...Go, go!"

Tyler grabs my hand and pushes me to a run, making me bite my tongue to stop myself from crying out in pain.

I grab Ashlyn's hand and pull her out of the monster's reach just in time as Aiden and Ben slam the door shut.

"Thanks—" Ashlyn says, her eyes falling on my down and her eyes widening. "Your leg!"

"I'll be fine. Let's just find somewhere safe first." I smile, then wince at the pain.

"W-what was that?" Logan stammers.

Aiden smiles over at Tyler. "According to Tyler, that would be the 'prank' from earlier."

Tyler scowls at Aiden. Taylor speaks up, "Ah! Sarah and Emma are still in there!"

"I don't think so. With all the commotion, they would've screamed for help or something..." I state. Ashlyn nods.

I notice the doorknob wiggle and open, my eyes widen but Ben quickly grabs the handle and slams his body against the door.

"Good instincts, Ben." I praise, sweating slightly.

"That could've been bad." Aiden laughs.

Tyler glares at him. I could see a muscle twitch in his jaw. "Could've? Stop taking this as a joke! It's been bad! The sky is red for crying out loud!" He yells.

Taylor interrupts the boys' bickering. "Guys... look down..."

I quirk an eyebrow at her. We all look over that railing at the parking lot and I almost gasp. There were probably 5 or more of that same creature just below us wearing the same disturbing smile and bony figure. I jump slightly when they turn their heads and stared right at us, then broke into a sprint.

"Crap!" I yell.

"How far is your room?" Ashlyn questions.

"About 5 or 6 doors down?" Aiden estimates, sweating slightly.

Ashlyn seems deep in thought for a moment. Then her eyes brighten slightly. "Give me the string of your pants, Aiden, (Y/N)."

I immediately draw the string from my pants, leaning against the railing.

"Kay. Why?" Aiden asks.

I elbow him in the ribs slightly. He grins. "Just trust her."

I might try finishing this area of the book tomorrow because I wanna develop Y/n and Tyler already and work on an Aiden x Y/n book soo bad 😭
