It's been a little over 3 years since Damian was taken from their honeymoon. Ever since, she has not been the same. She left Gotham and her family behind. She left her whole life behind...
What happens when she gets contacted by her old best friend...
When I wake up in the morning my head is killing me from crying myself to sleep. I go to sit up noticing that there is a tiny human laying on my chest as well as a massive dog at my feet. I rub my daughter's back to wake her up. "Sweetie it's time to wake up." She whines pushing her head further into my chest causing me to giggle. "Come on sweetie, did you forget that you're going on an adventure with Uncle Joey and Uncle Jay-Jay today?" I ask her and she quickly shoots her head off my chest and jumps off me. I laugh as she runs out of my room.
I follow behind her into her room to help her get dressed before we go down to the kitchen for breakfast. When we get there everyone is there besides Damian making me sigh in relief. I sit my daughter in her booster seat before taking a seat beside her. Once I'm beside her I plate up some fruits and a little bit of eggs for her and hand it to her before plating up similarly for myself. Dick watches me as I do puzzled. "Correct me if I'm wrong Kay. But you used to eat meat right?" He questions me staring at me.
"Umm yeah I did back in high school. But I stopped when I got pregnant with Mira. I became vegetarian. I was initially going to do it for... for him. But I stuck to it after he disappeared as a way to honor him and to get myself in a healthier place. And Mira can't eat red meat because it hurts her stomach." I responded nonchalantly with a shrug of my shoulders. I look at everyone at the table and they're all staring at me.
"What? What did I say?" I asked absolutely confused. "You just stopped?" Tim wondered and I just nodded. "Yeah. It wasn't as hard as you may think. I couldn't eat any type of meat while I was pregnant so I essentially was forced to become vegetarian. And honestly the smell of meat makes me queasy now" I stated simply as I started eating my food.
After I was done I picked Mira up to clean her up before sending her off with her uncles. Once they were gone I went up to my room to quickly change before heading down to the cave for a bit of training.

When I get down to the cave I close my eyes and open my wing stretching them. When I open my eyes back up I see him already down there going at the punching bag. I sigh knowing I'm not going to be able to avoid him forever. So I walk closer and place my towel on the bench before pulling my hair up into a ponytail.
I turn around watching him repeatedly hit the punching bag. I study him closely when suddenly the lighting catches something around his neck. I take a couple steps closer trying to figure out what it was. The closer I get the clearer I'm able to see a chain hanging around his neck. My wings snap open and I fly closer to him making him stop and turn to look at me. That's when I see what is on the chain. My hand reaches out and takes hold of the chain as my eye ice over and snap up to meet his confused ones.
"Where the fuck did you get these?" I snap at him. "Hey ghosty! I'm talking to you? Where. Did. These. Rings. Come from?!" I demanded as my body started heating up. "What is it to you Wilson?" He snarks back trying to pull away from me but my grip on the chain is firm. "One day when I woke up they were just there. I tried countless times to get rid of them but I just could not do it. I do not know why but I could not." He concedes finally telling me. "These do not belong to you. These rings, are my husbands. They belong to me. Hand them over." I demand glaring at him.
