It's been a little over 3 years since Damian was taken from their honeymoon. Ever since, she has not been the same. She left Gotham and her family behind. She left her whole life behind...
What happens when she gets contacted by her old best friend...
A few days have passed since I had uncovered that surveillance video of Talia taking Damian to Nanda Parbat. I've been trying to find their current location but I'm running out of luck.
I'm being forced by Bruce to take a break and take Mira to make a short visit to Oliver in Central City. He's been calling me non-stop since he found out I was back.
I look through Amira's drawers to find her something warm to wear for the trip to Central City. Once she's all dressed I'm get changed myself.

"Mummy where are we going today?" She asks as she puts her arms up telling me to carry her. Once she's in my arms I respond. "Well baby you and mummy are going to see a very very good friend of mummy's. His name is Oliver. Mummy hasn't seen him in a very long time and she misses him." She looks at me in the eyes and her bottom lip starts to quiver. "Will he like me mummy?" My heart sinks when she asks me that. I kiss her head before telling her the truth. "He will absolutely love you my angel no need to be worried." I tell her as I pat down a stray hair on her little head.
I grab my backpack with all of Amira's stuff in it before heading downstairs.
I get to the bottom of the stairs and see Tim, Jason, Dick and Duke standing there. "Alright we're heading to visit Ollie. Tell Bruce I'm taking one of the cars and I will be back before patrol. Timmy, keep Jay and Dick under control until I get back will you?" I say to my family. "You know they don't listen but I'll try my best." Tim responds as he kisses Mira's head and I nod mine with a smile on my face. "I put her car seat in the Rolls Royce for you." Jay tells me as he comes up to us kissing the top of both of our heads. "Be careful please." Dick says and I nod my head. "Always. Well we're off." I say before walking off into the garage.
Central City
We pull into the Queen Manor and see Ollie standing there waiting for us. I stop the car and get out before going to the back seat to get my daughter out of her car seat. "Is that Owwie mummy?" Amira asked me as I pick her up and I nod my head at her. "Yes it is baby. Let's go say hi okay?" She nods her little head then lays it on my shoulder.
"Hi Ollie." I say as I walk up to the porch where he's standing. "Mykie. It's been a long time. Who's this little one?" He asks pulling me into a side hug. "This is Amira. Mine and Damian's daughter." I tell him.
He smiles down at her before he looks back up at me. "She's beautiful Mykie. Come on in. Everyone is here. They're excited to see you." He tells me as he opens the door signaling me to go first.
When I step in memories start to resurface and I smile. Memories of Damian and I being here. Some from various Queen parties, others of us just being here while Bruce dealt with Justice League business. Great memories none the less. My heart slowly starts to break when I fully realize that they are just memories. That Damian is not here and won't be until we find him.
I feel a hand on my back snapping me out of my thoughts. I look up at Oliver beside me and he has a sad smile on his face. "I know it's hard but we are all here for you and Amira." He starts to direct me into the living room.
I stop in the doorway when I see who all is sitting in the room. "Kayla!" One of the voices yells and a smile crosses my face. "Mummy who is all these people?" Amira whispers in my ear. "Everyone here my sweet are old friends of mummy's." I explain to her. "I see the party has finally arrived." I hear the distinct voice of Roy comment. "Hey speedy. Sad to say I am no longer in the party business. Try the business of motherhood." I say as I wrap my free arm around his waist as he steps up beside me.
"I believe introductions are in order." I start as everyone looks between me and my daughter who is still in my arms. "Everyone I would like you all to meet my daughter Amira Wayne. Damian's and I daughter." I continue before looking at the little angel in my arms. "Amira. I would like to introduce you to some of my friends. You met Ollie already right? We have his wife Felicity. His best friends Diggle, Rene, Curtis, Dinah and Barry. Then we have Oliver's younger sister and my close friend Thea and her boyfriend Roy and our friend Wally." I continue as I point to each person in the room. "She is absolutely beautiful Mykie. How old is she?" Felicity asked me walking over to us. "Amira will be 4 in February." I reply as I walk further into the room. I take a seat beside Thea and place Amira down so she roam the room and really meet everyone.
"So? Bar? (Pronounced Bear) What are you doing all the way over here in Central City and not at home?" I ask him and he chuckles. "Well we had a case to work here that I needed Oliver's help with and when he told us you were back we had to see you." He tells me. I nod in understanding.
I see Thea playing with Amira so I get up and wonder around the house.
I get to the kitchen and look around before I stop in place.
*Flashback*
Bruce brought Damian and I with him to Ollie's place because he had some Justice League stuff to take care of. Why he brought us I don't know but he did. SoI'm making myself a tea while I wait for him to finish.
While I wait for kettle I feel a shiver run down my back. I turn around and see Damian standing in the doorway just staring at me. "Can I help you Dami?" I questioned him as I lean against the counter. He just walks over to me without answering. He stops right infront of me putting his hands on the counter behind me trapping me in place. "Damian what are you doing?" I ask putting my hand on his chest to push him away but the shock that shoots up my arm stops me. I'm almost compelled to lean up towards him and press my lips to his.
A voice from behind Damian wakes me out of the daze I was pulled into. "Really?! The kitchen of all places?!" I peek around Damian to see Roy standing there. I roll my eyes at him before breaking out of Damian's arms. Just as I do the kettle pops. I finish what I was doing and walk away.
*End of flashback*
"Hey Kid. You okay?" I hear from behind me. I turn around and Rene and Dinah are standing there. "Ren. Dinah. Um yeah sorry. I'm okay. Where's Amira?" I ask changing the subject. "She's still with Thea. That's why we came to get you actually. You might want to come see this." Rene tells me as both of them push me out of the kitchen and back towards the living room.
"What happened back there?" Dinah asks looking down at me. "Umm just a flashback to the last time I was here with Damian. That's all." I tell her as we step into the room. That's when I notice why they dragged me back.
There in the center of the room was my daughter and Thea. Dangling over Thea's head is a ball of water. "Okay? What's going on?" I ask as I take control and direct the water back into the cup on the table. "We don't know. One minute she's playing and the next she accidentally knocks the cup over but the water stops in mid air before spilling all over the floor." Curtis explains to me.
I step back. "That couldn't have been Amira. She's too young. Her abilities shouldn't be manifesting yet. Not until she's 16." I panic. "It's way too early for her to get her powers. She doesn't even have her wings yet. I didn't even fully believe that she was like me." I continue to panic. "Kayla. Calm down for me please honey. You're scaring all of us. Even Amira." Thea says to me. I take a deep breath in before slowly exhaling it. "I'm sorry about that guys. I should get us back to Gotham. I promised to get back before they started patrol." I tell them hugging everyone before I pick Mira up.
