April 21st

When we got home I put my sleeping little girl in her room before going into our kitchen to start making dinner. Joey walks into the kitchen as I'm cooking and sits on the island counter. I look at him and he starts to sign. "Are you okay? That was an odd visit." I nod my head at my older brother. "Yeah I'm okay. Just surprised is all." I tell him as I continue to cook. Once I'm done I plate our dinner and go wake up Amira.

I get to her room and as I open the door and I see someone standing over her as she sleeps. "GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER" I yell as I blast the intruder with hot water. It would have been fire but I'm not putting my little girl in more danger. "I SAID! GET THE HELL AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!" The intruder finally turns around and there in front of me is my father. "Hello Mykayla. It has been some time since I saw you." He said just as Joey runs into the room. "Father. I will not repeat myself again. Get. Away. From. My. Daughter!" I growl before turning to my brother. "Joey. Grab Amira please. I don't want her to wake up and see father." I asked and he nodded before going around me and making his way over to her bed. Once he has her in his arms and they're out of the room I turn back to my father.

"Now. Why are you here father?" I ask him and he sighs. "Well Mykayla. I am here to tell you to stop looking for Damian Wayne. If you keep looking you will be putting yourself, your brother, that daughter of yours and anyone else you have helping you in danger." I glare at him before taking a step towards him. "Are you threatening me and my family?" I ask and he shakes his head. "No. I am simply warning you. It may come as a surprise to you daughter but I do not want anything to happen to you. Especially not now that you are a mother." I look up at my father in surprise.

"Father. Who took Damian? Was it Talia?" I ask him with pleading eyes. He sighs again as he looks at me. "I can't tell you that. If I do then I will end up putting you and your family in danger." I sigh. "Father you know well enough that I can take care of myself and my family. I was trained by you and... And the demon head. I just need to know who has my husband. My daughter has a right to know who her father is." I explain pleading with him he sighs before he sits on Amira's bed. "If it will make you feel even better I will move back home to Gotham and stay at the Wayne Manor." "Mykayla..." He starts but I cut him off.

"Father please. I need to know." I beg him. "Talia found out when you guys were leaving and where you were going. She knew everything about your wedding and your honeymoon. I don't know why she took him from you or any of her plans. All I know is that she has him." He explains. "Do you think she knows about my baby?" I question him and he shook his head. "If you say you didn't tell him you were pregnant. When were you supposed to tell him?" He asked "The night he was taken was the night I was going to tell him." "If that's the case then there's no possible way that Talia Al Ghul would know about her." I nod my head gratefully. "I better go. But please be careful Mykayla. I don't want anything happening to you or my granddaughter." I nod my head as my father stands up from his spot on Amira's bed. "Father!" I call stopping him in his tracks turning back towards me. "Thank you." He nods before stepping out of the window and was gone.

I walk out of Amira's room and into the kitchen to see Amira awake and eating and Joey sitting beside her with an empty plate. "Hey you." I said as I walk up behind my daughter kissing the top of her head. "Mummy!" She exclaimed "Where was you mummy?" She asked I sat beside her facing her. "I just had to talk to someone." I look at my brother who's face drops. "I will be right back my little Angel I have to make a call to your Grandpa Bruce okay?" She nods her head as she goes back to munching on her food.

I walk out onto the balcony pulling out my phone and dialing Bruce's number. "Hello?" "Hey B. I have some new information. Would we be able to come down next week?" I ask him "Yeah of course. You know you guys are always welcome." "Okay we'll be down on the Friday." I tell him "How is everything coming along on your end?" I ask him and he chuckles. "We found some more evidence but we'll show you when you come down." He tells me "Okay we'll see you on Friday then. Bye B." I say and he replies with a goodbye and we hang up.

I'm about to step back into the apartment when I hear someone landing on the balcony behind me. "Well. Well. Well. It looks like I found you Angel." I hear a robotic voice say from behind me. I let out my wings as my eyes turn purple. When I turn around I see Jason standing behind me in his Red Hood suit. I smirk as I tuck my wings back into my body as my eyes turn back to their natural colour. "Hey Jay. How did you figure that one out?" I ask as I lean against the wall beside the balcony door. He takes his helmet off leaving him with his domino mask still on his face. "It really wasn't that difficult. You seem to be the only person in both Gotham and New York that's half Angel. And you were in Gotham the same time as the new vigilante appeared and you leave the same time she does. It was pretty much an open and shut thing." He explains and I chuckle nodding my head.

"You wanna come in? I think Amira would like to see her uncle Jay." I asked and I can pretty much see his brain working. "I really shouldn't. No one knows I'm here." I give him a look and he sighs with a slight smirk on his face. "Fine. I'll come in for a little while then I should go. Before Bruce and Dick notice I ditched Patrol just to come all the way down here." I nod with a small smile on my face.

As he's about to step into my apartment I stop him. "Jay-Jay?" He turns back to look at me. "What's the matter Kay?" "I'm sorry." I start and he looks at me confused "Sorry for what?" He questions "I'm sorry for leaving you all the way I did. I never meant to hurt any of you." I tell him and he walks back over to me wrapping his arms around my shoulders pulling me into his chest. I wrap my arms around his torso squeezing him. "Don't apologize Kay. I get it, it just hurt having you leave and not knowing if you were okay." I squeeze him a little tighter. We let go of each other and head inside.

"Amira! Come see mummy I have a surprise for you!" I yell into the apartment and I hear her little feet pattering over to us. "Mummy? Where's is my surprise?" She asks running over to me. "Jay? Come on in." I say and he steps out from around the corner no longer wearing either of his masks and into the light. "UNCE JAY!" She screams running over to him. He scoops her up into his arms and she wraps her arms around his neck hugging him tight. "Hey my little monster." He said hugging her tight. "I'm not a monster I'm an angel!" She exclaimed and he chuckles before looking at me with a smirk on his face. "Yes you are an angel aren't you." She nods her head excitedly. "I have some exciting news for you guys. Do you wanna hear what it is baby?" I asked her and she nods again even more excitedly. "You, uncle Joey and mummy are going to be visiting Gotham and staying with Grandpa Bruce." She squeals and hugs Jason's head tightly. He chuckles and tickles her sides causing her to giggle.

"Okay I have to get back to Gotham before Bruce gets more mad at me. And finds out I ditched them." 'Too late Red Hood' I laugh and take Amira from him as he walks out the balcony door shaking his head and he's gone.

I bring Amira to her room and get her changed into her pajamas before laying her down on her bed. "Good night my little angel. I will see you in the morning. Mummy loves you so much." I tell her as I kiss her forehead "Goodnight Mumma I loves you." She says back as she falls asleep. I smile and walk out of her room and into mine.

As I get into my room I stop in my tracks as I see what's sitting on my bed....
