Destiny of hopes

chapter 6...

I was enjoying my Puja vacation so much. I actually love it because it's a time when the whole family is together.

Mom, dad, Arav, grandpa and Grandma from dad's side, bua (dad's older sister), mama (uncle from mom's side) and nani and Nana (grandma and grandad from mom's side)

I don't have any cousins. It's just me and my brother but it's fine because when the whole family is happily together nothing else matters. It's so beautiful.

I feel bad sometimes that I can't do all the cousins stuff but it's also a benefit everyone just loves me and aarav way too much.

I'm staying at my aunt's place today. She promised to buy me books before I go back to my hostel. So here we are.

It's like an aunty daughter's date. She can't have kids so she treats me like her own daughter from my childhood. Even in her work place mostly all the people think that my aunt is actually my mom. I too love her so much.

I got ready in a over sized shirt with blue white strips and black denim shorts. I paired it with white sliders and made my hair in a loose braid. I applied some sunscreen and lipbalm on my lips and I was ready to go shopping.

We suffle through many books at the store. I choose to take the A good girl's guide to murder series by holy Jackson with me.

" Don't you want more? "

She asked being surprised looking at my hands

" I do but yk I have my exams coming up so I can't "

" Ohhh, do you wanna explore the mall? "

" Ohhh sure without a question "

" Okay let's go then, you were so quick this time so we have a lot of time left "

We roam around different stores. She sees a pretty dress suggests that I should try that and hands me the dress.

"Aww, you look so pretty " she compliments after I try the dress. " We are taking it" she announced

I thought for a while and somehow said "Okay"

It was a black dungaree dress. We picked a white crop top for it and a black scrunchiee to go with it. I don't usually shop dresses but this time I don't know why I said yes without even protesting a bit.

I also bought a mini bag that can only fit one book, a wallet and my phone. I love this small things.

I then bought a chapstick, a set of four nude nail paints and some stationary like sticky notes, Highlights and crayons. Then we headed off to have our lunch.

We ordered some basic Indian food and after lunch as always we had icecream. I had a choco chip one it's my favourite.

We then headed to my dad's house. Today aarav and I along with dad are accompanying mom to go to Nani (grandma from mom's side ) ka Ghar.

I got Home and started packing my things in my bags. After packing I took a quick nap and then when I woke up it was time to go.

We all settled in the car. I opened my phone to see when I don't know from where but I thought to text him. We also took poppy with us. (Our dog popcorn)

' Hii ' I texted

' heyy ' he replied

' what's up '

' nothing '

Wtf he didn't even ask me back. That's a common thing.

I said ' okk bye '

' ok ' he texted

Ohh so now someone is being a bitch. I kept my phone and stared out of the window. Wow, my mood is ruined.

As we got to mama house I was greeted warmly by tasty Bundi k ladoo. No matter how I'm feeling good food, books and Nature always calms me down.

Specially, ocean, rivers, lakes, rainfall, waterfall, pretty sunsets, etc. I don't like sunrise and mountain much because I don't enjoy waking up early or treaking.

I greeted everyone and then put my bags in the room. After that I rushed towards my favourite place in there.

My Nani's house is a two story old Indian house so it has a big window that I love and small spiral staircase.

There is another floor that was built later that just consists of 2 rooms and a big balcony. From the side of a room there a spiral staircase goes up to the terrace.

There is also another balcony that surrounds the second story of the house. It is a common balcony that connects all the rooms of the first floor.

The common balcony is where my favourite place lies. There is a corner in there which has a big swing. The swing doesn't have a back so you can sit from both the sides and from one of the side you can see the whole backyard where a lot of trees are planted.

I love this House so much. I always wanted to have a House like this. A preety house with a Swing and a big back yard that opens up to a lake.

Although here there is no lake or pond nearby but still it almost feels so close to what I want to build as a home.

I got my dream house idea from the book called Verity. It is a dark thrilling book but the House is just so ethereal. I sat on the swing enjoying the cold breeze and watching the constilation. I don't have much knowledge about it but I love it somehow.

The days were passing soon, most of the days I used to studuand it was 18th October, 2021 almost the vacations had came to an end.

I was sitting in the swing enjoying the rain with a cup of cold coffee wearing shorts and a flowy tshirt. The way I'm so addicted to coffee ummmm.

It is raining from before dawn today. I liked it though. I took my phone out to click some pictures of the evening sky.

There I saw a notification. As I opened it my eyes fell out of it's socket. Wtf, did he just said.

' actually whatever you are hearing about us is not definitely a rumour and that day I wanted to say that I love you so much'
