He flowed aura through the entirety of his body and released enough to the point of leaking. The excess aura he poured was then grasped and held in place, forming what felt like seemed like a layer of aura one would apply to their weapon.

Yet again, Maxel continued to amaze me with his ingenious mind. Despite calling himself useless and untalented, he was clearly beyond gifted and monstrous at that point. Continuing his flow of aura, he finally stopped as he reached the point where he could no longer control anymore...

At his limits, aura covered every part of his silver sword. From the pommel to the tip of the blade, it was radiating more aura than a knight could ever use through their entire lifetime. Exuding of pressure, he took a deep breath, attempting to steady the state he was in.

With his preparations made, he made his move. He took one step forth and leaped up, to begin his onslaught of attacks. He swung his blade once and as a result, a devastating pressure-infused aura billowed forth, sending forth an impact that cracked the scales of the beast.

That being said, even it was unable to fully penetrate through its scales and although it felt the pain, the creature didn't waver in the slightest. Instead, it began shifting its body and emerged to reveal half its monstrous body. It rose from the dark abyss below the Lich...

The creature of aquatic nature emerged with the Lich's command, disrupting large bodies of water that flowed from whence it had come in the first place. Rising to twice its initial height,  the was more akin to a serpent, resembling leviathans of myths and folklore.

Its body is long and elegant yet dangerously sharp; its scales are like blade-like spikes protruding out to deter any who dare to approach lest they be cut into pieces.

It seemed much more imposing and threatening after revealing half of the entirety of its body, the sheer increase in size leaving everyone hesitant to make any rash moves. Though to Maxel, he felt this was not a spike in difficulty but rather an added obstacle he needed to overcome.

Falling down the marble flooring, the creature bearing impossibly sharp teeth snapped forth, attempting to seize the opportunity to attack the Maxel while he was still airborne...

Its mouth like a sharpened pair of scissors was directed toward the cat-kind beastman, and snapped at his feet, only to miss once more as he sped straight out of the way and positioned himself of clear view toward the Lich with the intent of striking him down right then and there.

Gathering his aura, he cleared his mind of worry and with both hands, swung down his blade horizontally; the leakage of aura parting the blade, fusing with the pressure of air that was created, intensifying and greatly enhancing the attack.

The single action created a fierce whirlwind that was capable of tearing entire buildings apart. Though it flew at astonishing speeds, it was just short of the creature's movements, failing to reach its target as it was blocked by the creature's impenetrable body.

Time and time again, his attacks were always somehow being blocked each time. He knew well that he was performing at his maximum capacity in the safest route, and yet, the swordsman couldn't foresee himself bringing down the black magician with the creature by his side.

There needed to be a change in pace and at the very corner of his eyes, he found an opportunity being presented before him. Alex was standing on the other side of the field and in the mere few moments between the beginning and end of the two monstrous being's fight...

He had found time to draw a ritualistic circle and cast a following spell. Borrowing mana from a deity, it manifested forth into an impeccable golem of reinforced bedrock magnitudes stronger and more durable than the stone golems he had conjured but a few hours prior.
