The sun cast long shadows over the campus as students hurried to their respective classes. Gojo Satoru found himself in the same form class as Geto Suguru, a fact that didn't go unnoticed by either of them. Their teacher, Ms. Yamamoto, introduced Geto to the class, and he gave a polite nod before taking a seat near the back, right next to Gojo.

"Hey," Gojo whispered as Ms. Yamamoto started the roll call. "Looks like we're in the same class."

Geto turned his head slightly and nodded. "Yeah, seems so."

The rest of the class passed without much interaction. Geto seemed focused, jotting down notes diligently, while Gojo's attention drifted in and out, often finding his gaze lingering on his new roommate.

---

Later, in their law studies class, Gojo noticed the same pattern. Geto remained quiet, engaged in the lecture, while Gojo found his thoughts wandering. He was intrigued by the quiet confidence Geto exuded, a stark contrast to his own more boisterous personality.

After class, Gojo and Geto walked back to their dorm together in silence. The awkwardness between them was palpable, an unspoken tension that neither seemed ready to address.

---

Their dorm room was a simple space with two beds on either side and a small bathroom attached. As they unpacked, the silence continued, each absorbed in their own thoughts.

"Hey, can you pass me that box?" Gojo asked, breaking the silence.

Geto handed him the box without a word, their fingers brushing momentarily. Gojo felt a spark at the contact but quickly dismissed it.

"So, you transferred from another university?" Gojo ventured, trying to make conversation.

"Yeah," Geto replied curtly. "Needed a change."

Gojo nodded, unsure of how to continue. He glanced at Geto, catching himself staring at the way the late afternoon sun highlighted the strands of Geto's dark hair.

They finished setting up their room in silence. Gojo's side was a mix of chaos and order, books and clothes strewn about in a haphazard fashion. Geto's side, on the other hand, was meticulously organized, everything in its place.

That night, Gojo lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. The tension in the room was almost tangible, a silent barrier between them. He turned his head slightly, seeing Geto's silhouette against the dim light from the window. There was something about Geto that intrigued him, a depth he couldn't quite understand.

---

The next morning, Gojo found himself watching Geto as he prepared for class. There was a grace to his movements, a quiet determination that drew Gojo in.

"Morning," Gojo greeted, his voice breaking the stillness.

"Morning," Geto replied, glancing at Gojo with a small, almost imperceptible smile.

They walked to class together, the silence between them less heavy but still present. In their form class, Gojo couldn't help but steal glances at Geto, noticing how he seemed to command attention without trying.

---

During lunch, Gojo, Shoko, and Utahime sat together, discussing their first impressions of their classes and roommates.

"So, how's the new guy?" Shoko asked, nudging Gojo.

"He's... interesting," Gojo replied, his thoughts drifting back to Geto. "We haven't talked much, but there's something about him."

Utahime raised an eyebrow. "Something good or bad?"

"Good, I think," Gojo said, his tone thoughtful. "Just... different."

---

That evening, back in their dorm, Gojo and Geto continued their silent routine. The unspoken tension between them was still there, but it was beginning to shift, taking on a new form. They were two people thrown together by circumstance, each trying to understand the other.

As the days passed, Gojo found himself increasingly drawn to Geto, intrigued by the quiet mystery that surrounded him. And though they rarely spoke, there was an unspoken understanding between them, a connection that neither could quite explain.

The year had only just begun, but Gojo knew that his life was about to change in ways he couldn't yet imagine. And at the center of it all was Geto Suguru, his enigmatic new roommate.
