It was the evening of the following day, and Jungkook was behind the wheel, carrying the file that Taehyung had requested. Instead of heading towards Taehyung's office, he drove onto a different path.

Upon arriving at the Kim Mansion, he made his way to the study after a maid welcomed him and informed him that Mr Kim was in his study.

After exchanging greetings, Mr Kim teasingly remarked.

"I was starting to worry that you might have gone straight to Taehyung."

Jungkook chuckled and replied.

"If it weren't for Taehyung's future concerns, I wouldn't have gone against him like that, even if it's you asking for a favor."

He said it in a lighthearted manner but with a hint of assurance, showing that he isn't one to betray or be intimidated by influential individuals, which is why he's considered the most intelligent and daring lawyer of his generation.

Mr Kim chuckled and Jungkook handed him the file. While Mr Kim flip through the pages, Jungkook mentioned.

"Taehyung specifically requested to identify those seeking financial assistance and less educational records, so it was challenging to find individuals meeting your criteria as well."

Mr Kim nodded and remarked.

"Their family background is irrelevant. What truly matters is their character and demeanor."

Jungkook nodded in agreement, and after a brief pause, Mr Kim pointed to a name in the file, saying.

"Not this one. Remove her. A few years back, we encountered them while searching for someone for Namjoon. They are not good people. They may seem the most humble and kind outwardly, but it's merely a facade for the world. Only I know how dreadful they actually are."

Mr Kim identified a few individuals whom he believed were concealing their true selves from the public eye. Upon closing the file and returning it to Jungkook, he remarked.

"Regardless of his choice, the girl Taehyung selects must possess patience, as she will need to navigate Taehyung's unchanging nature with care."

Jungkook nodded in understanding, prompting Mr Kim to add.

"Ensure that the girl is informed of everything I have shared with you."

As Jungkook prepared to depart, Mr Kim halted him, presenting a rectangular box adorned in glossy wrapping paper.

"This is for Aecha's birthday. I may be unavailable due to a prior commitment to visit an old friend."

Gratefully accepting the gift, Jungkook remarked.

"Thank you, uncle. I would have declined had it not been for your friend's visit. While you are obligated to attend, I suppose I can excuse you this time."

Mr Kim chuckled at Jungkook's playful banter as he bid farewell and left the room.

Jungkook informed Taehyung as he handed over the requested file. Taehyung began going through the contents of the file and remarked as he furrowed his brow while looking at one of the candidates selected by Jungkook..

"She looks familiar."

"Who?"

Jungkook inquired, prompting Taehyung to show him the picture.
