Taehyung strolled into the bustling cafe. The warm, earthy aroma of coffee enveloped him as he settled into a cozy corner table. He glanced at his watch and then at the entrance, his anticipation palpable along with his impatient foot tapping. He didn't say why he wanted to meet, but he was sure the person would come. If he had asked when to meet or if the person was free, there was a chance they would be busy. But by just sending a message without a plan or reason, it would grab their attention and bring them here.

Jimin darted between tables with his usual energetic flair. His eyes landed on Taehyung, and his cheerful demeanor instantly shifted to something more contemplative. Jimin's mind raced, the sight of Taehyung alone in a cafe along with his anticipation triggered his inner detective.

"Ah, Taehyung."

Jimin approached, trying to appear casual but unable to hide his curiosity.

"What can I get you today? Something strong to help you with... waiting?"

Taehyung looked up, recognizing Jimin immediately. He remembered Jimin from his wedding and then also heard his name a lot from y/n's mouth when she shared about her life before marriage. He knew Jimin works in 'Suchwita Cafe' but his mind didn't click this when he decided to visit the cafe for his meetup.

"Hey, Jimin. Fancy seeing you here. I'm actually waiting for a........ a friend. I'll place an order once they arrive."

Jimin's eyes flashed with a momentary suspicion.

"Oh, I see! A friend, huh? Well, we've all got 'friends' like that, don't we? The kind who just happen to show up when our partner thinks we're working late or running errands... but really, we're just grabbing coffee with our 'friend'. But who are we to judge? I'll just have that coffee ready for you... and your 'friend'... or whoever they might be."

Taehyung blinked in confusion, momentarily unsure of what Jimin's mysterious comment meant. Then, as the implications dawned on him, a smirk formed on his lips. He chuckled softly, finding Jimin's playful subtext amusing rather than offensive. Taehyung decided to play along with the game as this small conversation and interaction becomes a way of distraction from his anxiety and nervousness from waiting.

Jimin was about to turn away when Taehyung called him.

"Jimin, I think I'll order two drinks now. I know exactly what my.........

He paused for a moment and then said.

"..... companion will have."

Jimin, giving Taehyung a tight-lipped smile, took out his notepad and a pen, ready to take the order. Taehyung said with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"A latte and a cappuccino."

Jimin said, not hiding his annoyance while writing down the order.

"Hmm, sounds like you're trying to impress someone."

Taehyung let out a chuckle and said while shrugging his shoulders.

"I just like to be prepared."

Jimin mumble.

"Prepared for a date, maybe?"

Taehyung try to hold in his laughter. Jimin said before leaving.

"Well, I'll let you know when your drinks are ready."

As Jimin turned to head to the counter, he muttered to himself.

"I've got to tell y/n about this. This is too juicy."
