The next morning arrived. Y/N woke up from her deep sleep, finding the room perfectly dim. The curtains blocking the sunlight, and the room's lights were off, creating a perfect atmosphere for rest.

Feeling fully awake due to not being tired the day before and her habit of waking up early for work, she noticed Taehyung still asleep. Quietly getting up, she headed to the bathroom to freshen up. After bathing and changing, and seeing Taehyung still sleeping, she decided not to disturb him, assuming he had set an alarm according to his routine.

Aware that they had a chef and she didn't need to cook, she went downstairs to the kitchen. There, she found Seokjin preparing breakfast and greeted him, receiving a smile in return. She sat at the table. Seokjin inquired about breakfast.

"Is there anything special you'd like to eat?"

Y/N asked.

"What are you planning to make?"

Jin replied as he gathered utensils.

"I haven't started cooking yet, so feel free to request anything you'd like."

She asked curiously.

"What will taehyung eat?"

Jin paused his movements, a sad smile gracing his lips as he rested both palms on the counter.

"It's been years since he last had a proper breakfast. Most of the time, it's just coffee, and occasionally, if he feels like it, he might have a piece of toast and some milk. I am worrid, his routine will affect his health."

"Why does he do that? Is there a reason?"

Y/N asked, her curiosity mixed with concern. Jin smiled at her, appreciating her care despite knowing the conditions of their marriage.

"No, though he doesn't have any specific eating disorders. It's more of a habit he had formed and hasn't taken steps to change."

Y/N leaned on the counter, gazing towards the kitchen entrance, mumbling to herself, audible to Jin.

"Why is he like this?"

Jin responded.

"It all started from his mother's death. His habits and personality changes all from that event."

Turning her attention back to Jin, y/n inquired.

"Do you have any details about what happened, about his mother's death?"

Jin gave a slight nod and shared.

"Yes, I know. You see, I've been around for most of his life. There's a 10-year age gap between us. When I first began cooking for the Kim Family, Taehyung was just a young boy of 8 or 9. I've been serving the Kim family since I was eighteen. My parents passed away early, and all I had was my mom's talent for taste, so I started cooking to make a living."

She nodded in acknowledgement and asked.

"Can you give me more details? I want to help him."

Jin smiled softly and replied.

"No, I shouldn't tell you. I want Taehyung to confide in you himself. After his mother's passing, his father, family, and friends tried to help him out, but he distanced himself. I hope you can break through. Perhaps he'll open up to you."

She looked down, fiddling with her ring and murmured.

"What if he doesn't?"

Jin tapped the counter to capture her attention and reassured her.
