In the dim twilight, the sun has dipped below the horizon, casting shadows over the quiet neighborhood. The houses lining the streets flicker to life as their lights illuminate the darkness.

Inside a grand mansion, a father and son sit together after finishing their evening meal.

The older man, in his late sixties, and the younger man, in his late twenties, share a striking resemblance. Despite their age difference, both possess a timeless, youthful appearance with remarkably handsome features.

"Taehyung, you really need to consider this carefully."

The elder man spoke in his usual composed manner. Taehyung, the younger man, the son, responded calmly but with a hint of irritation in his voice.

"What do you mean, Dad? I'm your son, not him. It's obvious that I should inherit your company. Where does he fit into all of this?"

His father said calmly.

"He is my brother's son. He is also entitled to inherit."

Growing frustrated, Taehyung retorted.

"He already has his own company and isn't interested. Why are you so keen on passing your company to him?"

Mr Kim, his father, always maintained a serene and gentle demeanor, never losing his composure regardless of the circumstances. In contrast, Taehyung was the complete opposite, short-tempered and quick to irritation.

It wasn't always this way. Not only did Taehyung inherit his father's looks, but he also inherited his calm nature until a specific event altered his demeanor.

His father explained calmly.

"You know it's a tradition. My great-grandfather founded this company, and it has always passed down to his son upon marriage. You're 27 and unmarried, while he is just a year older but already has a child."

Taehyung couldn't help but roll his eyes, clearly displaying his annoyance. However, his father continued to explain without losing his composed demeanor.

"Listen, it's not that I don't want to pass my company to you or that I favor your cousin. It's simply that I cannot break this tradition. Therefore, I'm asking you to consider getting married within the next three months because after that, I'll have to announce the new CEO."

Taehyung closed his eyes and rubbed his temple, responding in a uninterested tone.

"Alright, I'll give it some thought."

Just then, they both heard a voice approaching them.

"Hello, Uncle, how are you?"

Both Taehyung and his father turned their attention to the source of the voice and saw a man around Taehyung's age carrying what looked like a file case walking towards them.

Taehyung muttered to himself, "Speak of the devil."

Meanwhile, his father greeted the approaching figure with a warm smile, expressing his delight.

"My dear Namjoon-ah, I'm well. How are you?"

Namjoon returned the smile and replied.

"I'm good, Uncle."

He then shifted his gaze to Taehyung and greeted him.

"Hey, Taehyung, how are you?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes and responded.
