Tanjiro was completely serious, almost unrecognizable to me. His gaze was pure anger towards that oni; no wonder, she had killed many people. I hadn't noticed, but Tanjiro had hit the oni's foot. She was sitting while quickly healing. From afar, I could see something written in her eyes... "Superior 6."

-"Living creatures do not follow the path of demons. Why do you hunt them? Why do you trample on people's lives?" Tanjiro seemed to be venting, but it was different; the oni stood still, listening.

-"What's so fun about this? What's so pleasurable? What do you think lives are? Why don't you know? How could you forget? You must have been human once. You must have gone through pain and suffering, and shed tears..." The oni broke the roof she was on.

-"Bla, bla, bla, shut up. I don't remember anything about my past; I'm a demon now. So the past doesn't matter. Demons don't age, we don't need money to eat, we don't get sick, we don't die, we don't lose anything. Strong and beautiful demons can do anything!!" She said with a malicious look. Tanjiro signaled me to go to the right while speaking...

-"Alright... Enough!" Tanjiro charged forward, a fire appeared on his sword... But it wasn't Flame Breathing; it was... different. It wasn't the time for that. I charged as well, me to the right and he to the left.

-"Kekki jutsu yaeobigiri!" The oni's ribbons covered us, and in a descending attack, she struck. Instinctively, I raised my Nichirin to block the attack, but it was too heavy. My breathing became difficult. Meanwhile, Tanjiro...

-"Hinokami Kagura: Shakkotsu Enyou!" He cut through all the ribbons, even the ones holding me. He charged forward again, both water and fire appearing on his Nichirin as he resumed his attack. I, a little slower, followed up as well. I could see from afar that Tanjiro was hit in the shoulder. But it wasn't the time to worry; he knows his own limits... right? Tanjiro landed a blow to her neck, but it didn't cut through. Her neck turned into a ribbon. Soon, I came alongside Tanjiro, attacking the same spot with force, pushing his Nichirin.

-"Shiranui!" I attacked together. Her neck began to be cut, but she didn't let us continue. Tanjiro pushed me with his other hand and jumped back, and I did the same, ending up on the edge of the roof. Tanjiro was slightly hit in the stomach, tearing part of his clothes. - Damn, I was slow... - The oni's neck wasn't cut; soon, the small cut regenerated. She wasted no time and started attacking Tanjiro, probably because he was stronger; she wanted to kill him first. But I, of course, didn't stay still...

-"Ichi no kata: Hatsukoi no wananaki!" I charged once more. The demon noticed and threw some ribbons at me, but since I wasn't the focus, I managed to dodge most of them. The oni realized I was closer and turned to attack me. My Nichirin clashed with the ribbon, but I forced it, managing to cut the ribbon in half. But, as gravity would have it, I made an attack downward on purpose and then looked ahead, launching another... And right behind came Tanjiro. We both attacked at the same time, each from a different side. We were about to cut her neck, and I was able to hit... But something happened to Tanjiro. He seemed to be struggling to breathe, kneeling down. I was desperate; I couldn't let anything go wrong. - Damn, damn...

-"Tanjiro!" I couldn't call out to him. My Nichirin was already at her neck, with her trying to pull away and turning, passing by Tanjiro and launching her attacks, but... A girl appeared behind her, kicking the oni towards me... - This is it, my chance. - I positioned myself better and went for the attack.

-"Shiranui!" I launched my attack again and hit her head. But the girl's attack didn't end there. She kicked the oni's head, throwing her away.

-"What did you do?! She won't die from a kick..." When I looked at her, she wasn't human; she was an oni too, but had bamboo in her mouth and didn't seem to want to attack us. She was looking at the oni. I looked up at the Upper Moon, and she was standing, her head starting to regenerate.
