(Let me clear one thing. I'm not a Bengali, so if I anywhere did any mistake please correct me. As I don't really know any rituals and all in it. I just don't want to disappoint you all. And to make the story more discriptive I may use the rituals in further chapters too. Hope you understand.)

Mujhe azmaati hai teri kami
Meri har kami ko hai tu laazmi

Junoon hai mera
Banu main tere kaabil
Tere bina guzaara
Ae dil hai mushkil

As Mini paced in her room, memories of their time together flooded her mind. Chandra's charming smile, his gentle touch, and his persuasive words " Chandu, tum mujse kuch bhi karwa sakte ho " she remembered him saying.

She knows he has that control on her which no one has ever had, but she was also the one who gave him that much.

She felt trapped between her love and her resentment. " Main kaise bach sakti hoon iski gehrai se? " she wondered.

Hours passed, and Mini's anger subsided, replaced by a sense of hopelessness. " Kuch nahin kar sakti, Chandra ki baat maan ni padegi " she resigned herself.

With a heavy heart, she made her way back to his out house. " Chandu " she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Chandra looked up, his eyes gleaming with triumph. " Arre, Mini, my love. Main jaanta tha tum meri baat manogi "

Mini's eyes dropped, her voice laced with resignation. " Theek hai, Chandra. Main karungi jo tum chahte ho. Anirudh ke paas jaaungi, usse pyaar dikhaungi "

Chandra's smile widened, his eyes crinkling at the corners. " That's my girl, Mini. Ab, aao, baat karte hain details ki "

Mini's heart sank, but she knew she had no choice. " Theek hai, Chandu. Batao, kya karna hai "

It was after some more days, the day of Anirudh's and Mini's aashirbaad [Engagement and Gifting]

Bondita woke up with a heavy heart, feeling vulnerable and sad. The thought of Anirudh leaving her and becoming someone else's husband was almost too much to bear.

She had tried to put on a brave face, but the pain was suffocating her.

As she arrived at RC Haveli, the hustle and bustle of the marriage preparations hit her like a tidal wave. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of unfamiliar faces and loud voices.

Everywhere she looked, there were reminders of Anirudh's upcoming marriage to Mini - the decorations, the rituals, the smiling faces.

Bondita's eyes stung as she fought to hold back tears. She couldn't take it anymore. She needed some peace, some quiet, some space to breathe.

She slipped away from the crowd and made her way to the garden at the back of the haveli.

The fresh air and greenery enveloped her like a gentle hug. Bondita took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart.

She walked further into the garden, away from prying eyes, and let her tears fall silently. She felt like she was losing Anirudh, like he was slipping away from her forever.

As she stood there, trying to compose herself, Bondita couldn't help but wonder what the future held. Would she ever find happiness again? Or would she be forever trapped in this sea of sorrow?
