The day starts auspiciously as the group of friends prepares for the Grand Galloping Gala. In the evening, at the ballroom, the group quickly disperses: Rarity makes friends with Fancy's friend, while Pinkie, disheartened by the party, bumps into Lord Blueblood. Rarity intervenes, rescuing him, and the two spend the evening together. Meanwhile, Twilight meets Flash's parents, and after a conversation, they part ways. Flash reveals his father's plans for him, but Twilight encourages him to follow his own dreams. In the garden, Fluttershy has fun while Applejack and Rainbow lament the nature of dances. Pinkie, isolated in a corner, is surprised by a woman who cheers her up, prompting her to run to the garden in search of her friends. However, the garden is invaded by strange rabbits with horse legs that attack the ballroom. Rarity is attacked and confronts Lord Blueblood, telling him a few home truths. With the arrival of the royal sisters, Celestia and Luna, the situation is brought under control. As they leave, Twilight begins to reflect on the strange events that have been occurring and suspects she might know who is responsible.

- Fancy, look at those colors! - Rarity smiled with two vibrant fabrics in her hands.
Fancy smiled back and agreed with her friend. It was a quiet weekend in the center of Ponville. Rarity had invited her friend to lunch at her house today, but before that, the two of them had spent the morning buying fabrics for the young designer.
Ever since Rarity had posted photos of the outfits she had created for the Grand Galloping Ball, the only positive thing to come out of that disastrous event, there had been comments asking for similar dresses or new creations.
Now, with the money she had saved and a "small" contribution from Fancy, she was looking for the best fabrics and sewing materials available. Her dream of opening her own fashion studio was finally taking shape.
- We should look in the crystal stores too - Fancy suggests, adjusting a bag full of sparkling fabrics on her shoulder. - Your dresses wouldn't be the same without jewelry.
- Yes, you're right, but I'm not going to buy any jewelry or crystal. Besides being expensive...
Rarity raised her index finger in front of Fancy as a request for silence. It was hard enough for the girl to accept her money, she wasn't going to take any more than she had to. She continued talking:
- I know a cave near Ponville where you can find them.
Fancy arched an eyebrow - Even so, until I know where they are...
- Have you forgotten that I'm special too, dear? - Rarity lifted the fabrics around her with her light blue aura magic to prove her point - I've learned a spell that makes it easier to find precious gems. I'll find them no problem.
- Do you have a spell to get them out of the ground? - the boy asked playfully.
- That's why I have you, my digger
Fancy widened her eyes - What?
Rarity giggled and continued on her way through the store stalls.
The minutes went by, the sun getting stronger and stronger. When Rarity was satisfied with her purchases, she began to lead her friend home. She smiles as she looks at the bags.
- My parents are excited to meet you.
Fancy smiled, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks. He turned his face discreetly, trying to hide the blush that was spreading.
