I expect you to think carefully about what you've done and the consequences it has had. Perhaps with some time alone, you'll come to understand the need to apologize to Mason and Lucas."
Michael was led to the kneeling pad and instructed to get into position. He complied, his movements slow and deliberate as he knelt on the hard surface. The pad, though somewhat padded, provided little comfort and emphasized the discomfort of his situation.
