Logan's cries filled the room as the punishment continued. His sobs grew louder with each stroke. After the punishment was completed, Logan, now tearful and trembling, apologized profusely. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry for what I did! I didn't mean to hurt Andrew!"
Mr. Thompson, still stern, responded, "Your apology is for Andrew. You need to go to him and apologize personally."
Logan, still sobbing, nodded. He knew he had to face Andrew and express his regret. Michael watched as Logan was led away, feeling a mix of relief and lingering anger.
After Logan's punishment, Mr. Thompson turned his attention to Michael. His face was set in a firm expression as he addressed Michael. "Michael, come over here."
Michael, exhausted and pained from the previous events, silently complied. He slowly removed his trousers and approached the desk, bending over as instructed. He knew what was coming. His body still bore the marks of yesterday punishment but he held his position resolutely.
Mr. Thompson stood behind him, assessing the situation. "Do you know why you're being punished?" he asked.
Michael, his voice steady despite the discomfort, replied, "I'm being punished because I disobeyed you and papa, used foul language, and hit Logan."
Mr. Thompson nodded, acknowledging Michael's understanding. "Very well. You will receive your punishment now."
Michael gritted his teeth as Mr.Thompson applied the cane and strap with precision, each stroke landing on Michael's bare skin with a sharp crack and a sting that left him gasping. The room was filled with the sound of the implements and Michael's restrained breaths.
When the punishment was over, Michael, now red and raw, stood up shakily. He turned to Mr.Thompson and Mr. Harris, his face etched with pain and regret. "I'm sorry, Dad, Papa" he said quietly. "I'm sorry for everything. I shouldn't have acted out, and I shouldn't have hit Logan."
Mr. Thompson patted his head gently and said "It's all in the past now Michael. You're forgiven. Make sure you're not repeating the same mistakes in the future"Michael nodded.
Logan, still recovering from his own punishment, nodded in acknowledgment of Michael's apology. "Thank you," he said, his voice hoarse.
Michael then walked back to his room, feeling the sting of his punishment and the weight of his actions. He needed time to recover and reflect on the day's events.
