Chapter 2
After leaving the café, Ananya felt the cool breeze touching her face . The city’s noise quickly filled the air, people roaming here and there making her think about the café she had just left and the strange feeling she had about Pranav, the barista who had smiled at her.
As Ananya walked towards the shopping area , her mind still kept thinking about Pranav. There was something about him that she couldn’t figure out, and it bothered her.
When Ananya reached the shopping area, she saw Reenu waiting outside a trendy mall . Reenu was excited about her upcoming wedding and couldn’t wait to start her shopping. Then two friends hugged and started their shopping , searching for the perfect outfits for haldi, sangeet as well wedding.
They spent the next hour looking through colorful accessories and dress . Reenu’s excitement was contagious , and soon Ananya was enjoying herself too.They tried on different outfits, and for a moment, Ananya forgot about Pranav.
But as they moved to another store, Ananya suddenly noticed someone familiar is standing near the entrance. It was Pranav.
He was standing alone, looking at something on his phone. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw him, and the memory of his smile rushed again . What was he doing here? Was it just a coincidence?
Ananya hesitated, Should I talk to him ? or just leave . She glanced at Reenu, who was busy picking out jewelry and didn’t noticed Ananya. The feeling she had about Pranav was strong, and her mind was full of questions .
Just as she took a step towards Pranav, Reenu turned to her, holding up a pair of earrings. “Ananya, look at these! They’re perfect for the sangeet!” Reenu was thrilled and also excited.
Ananya glanced back at Pranav, who had just looked up from his phone and was now looking right at her. There was that same spark of recognition in his eyes, as if he knew her from somewhere. But before she could decide what to do, Reenu pulled her toward the jewelry counter, eager for her opinion.
When Ananya looked back at the entrance, Pranav just left . Ananya felt a pang of disappointment she had missed her chance to talk to him.
As they continued shopping, Ananya was damn sure that she will meet him again . The missed encounter only deepened her curiosity, and she found herself hoping for another chance to figure out why he seemed so familiar.
