CHAPTER 8

Ananya and Pranav were puzzled about who might have kept this key here. They thought the key may open something important. But without knowing what it would open, they were stuck. They don’t know what to do now or where to go.

“Do you think this key opens something that might help us?” Pranav asked.

Ananya thought for a moment. “Maybe it could open something in my grandmother’s house. She had a lot of old stuff. We should check there.”

The next day, they headed to Ananya’s grandmother’s house. They were still uncertain if this keys opens. It was an old home filled with memories from Ananya’s childhood.

They started their search as they moved boxes and old furniture around, Ananya found a small wooden box in a corner. The box was covered in dust, but it had a lock that might fit the key.
“Pranav, I think this is it,” Ananya said, holding up the box.

Pranav brought the key closer to the lock, and with a soft click, it turned and opened. Inside, they found a collection of old letters, photographs, and a small, leather-bound book. It was an old book with yellow pages and some pages were torn out.

Ananya gently picked up the book and opened it. Inside were handwritten notes and drawings. But as she flipped through the pages she found something strange. The handwriting looked familiar just like the writing in the diary she had seen earlier in the attic.

“This is… it’s the same handwriting,” Ananya whispered, her heart beating faster.

Pranav stared into the book. “It looks like whoever wrote this knew about the diary you found. Maybe it’s the same person.”

As they flipped the pages, they discovered it belonged to someone named Aarav, who had lived in the same town many years ago. Pranav do you know someone named Aarav? No, I don't.

One entry stood out: “There is a bond that cannot be broken, even by time. The garden is where it all began, and where it will begin again.”

Ananya looked at Pranav, her mind racing. “This book... it’s like a link between us and the past. Maybe Aarav was connected to both of us, somehow.”

Pranav nodded. “But why? And how? We need to find out more about this Aarav .”

They decided to take the book with them and dig deeper into the mystery. As they left the house, Ananya felt excitement and nervousness. They were getting closer to discovering the truth. Ananya is thrilled about what they will find. She is certain that it could change everything.
