The sun was shining brightly that day. The birds were chirping, the people of Green Hills were full of life. But there was one who was living their life with more energy than anyone. A specimen that was able to run faster than the speed of sound.

"Help! Someone help froggy!" - ?

Yelled a big purple cat, a fishing rod being on his back as he reached down at the edge of a cliff. It was Big the cat. His pet, Froggy seemed to have fallen down and was currently trying to hold onto a rock that was in the wall of that cliff, but that rock was soon to slide out from under him. Our hero's ears has twitched at the sound of need for help from one of his friends. He immediately turned around and rushed to the source of the voice, from below he yelled up to the cat.

"Big! What's wrong?" - ?

Big just pointed down with worry at his pet and the fast specimen already understood what was happening. He crouched, getting ready to run and he rushed up on the wall up towards to the top of the cliff, grabbing the little frog and the almost falling out rock, stopping on top of the cliff, infront of Big.

"There we go, like if nothing happened." - S

Said our hero as he reached his hands out to big with the rock in it, froggy jumping in happiness on top of it. Big reached out his hands, Froggy jumping into them, Big bringing him up to his face and sigh in relief. At this the blue hedgehog just shrugged and threw the rock off of the cliff with a simple swish.

"You are a hero! Thank you Sonic." - B

The blue hedgehog just smiled, placing his hands on his hips.

"I'm not a hero, just helping out a friend. But i have to go now. Bye Big, Bye Froggy! Be more careful next time!" - S

He said as he started walking backwards, throwing himself off the building after a wink and a wave of his hands, spin dashing down the mountain.

The next moment he was already at the house of Knuckles the red echidna, who was currently smashing coconuts and cooking them above fire.

"Hey Knuckles! I'm here!" - S

Sonic says after knocking on the arch of the open door. The echidna turns his head towards him, raising one of his brows. Once he gets a look at the grinning blue hedgehog his face distorts to one of unamusement. With that expression he turned around and kept cracking coconuts open as he spoke.

"You're late Sonic. We agreed to start at 9 am." - K

"Oh come on, that three minutes are nothing. I just helped out Big because he ran into a bit of trouble." - S

Sonic said, shrugging his shoulders and rolling his eyes as he invited himself inside the house.

"Whatever, get to shredding." - K

Knuckles pointed his thumb from over his shoulder to the table filled with coconut meat. The hedgehog raised a brow at first and slowly turned to look at the large pile before letting out a sigh at the realisation that this is going to take a long time.

"Does Amy really need this many coconuts for the Lamingtons?..." - S

"She also plans on making a coconut cake." - K

Sonic started to make his way to the table, already tired before even starting his job. He then began shredding, saying the following.

"She really plans to go all out for this picnic doesn't she?" - S
