"Everyone! Listen here! Yesterday Sheriff Shadow has gone crazy and shot the mayor in an attempt of threatening her! The coroner's judgement turned out to be death penalty! The execution of Sheriff Shadow the Hedgehog goin' to take place nearby the old farm house in the outskirts at 3 in the afternoon, in two days! Expect the elections of a new Sheriff for our little town of Wastapolee to be held soon! More information coming at a later time!" - ?

"Boss! Boss! We've got great news!" - T

"And some food too!" - K

Yelled Tails as he flew towards Sonic who was currently resting in his tent, Knuckles going along with him as he added. Sonic rubbed his eyes as he woke up to the two yelling out loud, getting up, putting on his hat and stepping outside.

"Good morning you two." - S

Sonic rubbed his eyes and yawned. Tails holding a paper in his hand grinned widely as he nodded.

"What a great morning it is indeed! Look!" - T

Tails suddenly grabbed the paper and unrolled it, lifting it up to Sonic's face. Sonic leaned closer, grabbing the two sides of the paper, stretching it out as he began reading it, his expression from tired turning to horrified as he processed the information.

"Great Citizen of Wastapolee, Sheriff Shadow the Hedgehog has shot Mayor Amilia Rosalette in an attempt to threaten her?!... The coroner's judgement was that Sheriff Shadow the Hedgehog is found guilty, he has been given the death penalty?!?! His execution is in two days at noon nearby the old farm house at 3 in the afternoon. Execution type... Hanging?!?!?!" - S

Sonic looked up horrified at his friend who grinned widely.

"Isn't it great? Finally we won't have to deal with him and we gonna have time to head in the town and take whatever we want!" - T

The red echidna nodded to the fox's suggestion with a grin. But the blue hedgehog just stared at them with pure horror as he dropped the paper from his hands. Once the paper landed on the ground Sonic immediately snapped.

"No! It's not great! What the hell are you talking about?!" - S

"Hey Boss... Have yee lost yee mind? He has been onto us for years now!" - K

Sonic didn't seem to hear as he started walking up and down, mumbling to himself.

"No no no... This can't be happening..." - S

"Boss!" - K

Yelled Knuckles making Sonic turn to them.

"What has gotten into yee?" - K

"We.. we have to save him!" - S

Sonic said as he walked to their horses, the other two's eyes widening in disbelief as they follow him.

"Have yee gone mad?! Saving the man who tried to get us killed for years now only for trying to survive in this darn wasteland?!" - K

The blue hedgehog just held the leash in his hand before turning back to the two.

"I am not the boss and he is not the Sheriff you once knew..." - S

Sonic let go of his horse's leash, turning to Tails with a worried expression.
