Day 4

7:20 am, August 15, 2078, Saturday.

For Asagi, It was rather complicated to see her archenemy currently unconscious having bindings in her hands and feet that restrict her from moving. She noticed how the binding has seals in them that removed the chances of her rescaling. Asagi pondered where this binding came from and glanced at the only answer she could conclude.

The man, Testament is truly filled with mystery that she can fully uncover in a short conversation.

She returned her gaze back at their prisoner and grimaced at the unpleasant memory that she had to endure. This woman was the one who made her experience the death of former fiancée that made her feel helpless during that time. She was there seeing him slowly losing her grip from him and the future of quiet life eventually shattered into a million pieces that her heart couldn't return from.

Asagi and her sister would be captured by Oboro and tortured fighting a place called Chaos Arena which is an illegal fighting ring that Mostly comprised women, with some fighting experience, forced to fight each other or demons. Which would often result in death or sexual punishments in the loser's case. On top of that, those fights were recorded and broadcasted on television, through hidden channels.

Though she and her sister won, escaping from that horrid place while killing the one who made everything fall to place but the scar left in that day haunts her every moment of her life.

Does that mean she hates Oboro? Yes. But simply saying hate was an understatement. However, she knows simply killing her won't bring back the life she lost.

Asagi felt unsure on how to feel about Oboro now that she had the power to do anything to her. She suddenly felt her hands being grasped, turning to Testament who looked at her softly.

“I can sense your emotion. Whatever between you two is up to you to decide on what fate she should face. I haven't said this but when your mine also means I am yours. Whatever you need, I'll do my best to support you.”

His words strike her heart, reminding of her fiancé thinking about what he would want for her. She began to think that by keeping herself shackled by the past means her fiancé wouldn't be able to rest.

It was strange. The two were strangers and only met yesterday yet felt closer than what strangers should be. Certainly this is the effect of his charm but his words and character made her consider that he is more of a man than what his appearance showcases. He held firmly in her hands showing that he doesn't have any intention of letting her god and his words mean more than anything in this world.

If she pursued this relationship that they were building meant she wouldn't lose him because of how strong he was. The more she thinks about it, the more she realizes that she has nothing she can offer because of her heart considering he can take everything if he wanted but decided to be kind.

He has the nature of Incubus but takes responsibility for it unlike what this demon is known for. Asagi's lips curled up where he was gentle outside of bed.

“Oh, it looks like she’s waking up,” one of them murmured, their attention drawn to Oboro as her eyes slowly fluttered open. The moment she registered their presence, her gaze sharpened into a deadly glare, her killing intent palpable in the air.

The two exchanged uneasy glances, but before they could speak, Oboro’s voice cut through the tension like a blade.

“Isn’t this quite the reunion?” she hissed, her tone dripping with venom.
