My phone suddenly rang taking all my attention. It was the least expected person to call.

I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT YOU! The name popped up 'mi amor🤍'. ROSE!

My heartbeat increased
How come she called me today?

I picked up the call and held it close to my ear. "Hey princess" I said being all excited to hear her voice.

"Hi Ryan, How are you?" She spoke making my heartbeat increase more.

Jesus, my name never sounded so good to hear before.

"I - i am all good, What made you call me today?" I asked, waiting for her to continue. "Can I not call you without any reason?" She asked.

"No, no, no you got me wrong, I mean-" she didn't let me complete "I know Ryan, I am just kidding, Don't worry much" She said.

"I wanted to tell you something really special, I hope you have time?" She asked.

"Yes, yes go ahead!" If I had no time I would still listen to you. I don't give a damn about the world.

"So... Its like... Umm... I -i am just too excited to tell you this" she was taking pauses in between. "I - i left the café work" She was about to say something else but I interrupted her.

"W - what, dear Are you ok? You left your work? Why did you resign? Did that owner fire you? Did someone say something to you? Tell me their name and the person is over-" I was continuously blabbering but she suddenly stopped me from talking any further.

I guess she wanted to say something for so long but I was not letting her speak

"Ryan Ryan, Stop!" She said a bit loud so I could hear her. "Oh god, what's with the sudden chain of questions Ryan" She spoke. "I - i am so sorry for blabbering so much I got worried about you" I told her.

"It's alright friend! but let me complete now?" She asked "oh, yeah I'll keep mum" I said.

"So the thing is, that I was preparing for an interview from a long time, it has been an year I was getting myself ready to get a better job but till I get the job, I decided to earn a small amount of salary for daily needs. So I worked at café for like few years. And here is the thing I quit my job at café because I got HIRED to this big company!" She said all exited emphasizing the word 'Hired'

I got happy to hear this "What! really! ROSE CONGRATULATIONS! hats off to your dedication and independence!" I exclaimed.

"Thank you, thank you Ryan!" She thanked me. "So, tell me which company are you gonna work in?" I asked so I can visit her.

I know all the big companies of New York city.

"So the name of this company is..... R.M.STAR!" She said making my eyes go wide in astonishment.

It my company. I am the CEO!

"WH- WHAT! REALLY? ROSE? LIKE FOR REAL?" I almost shouted in excitement

"Yeah! Do you know about that compan?" She asked.

Wait. I will not tell her now. I guess she doesn't know about the CEO.

"Ye-yeah, It's my friend's company". I lied because I have an idea.

"Ok well that's really nice, I will be going from tomorrow only, so maybe we will not be able to meet regularly now, and I also said this to Eva" she said.

Little do you know, we will more frequently from now.

"I have a surprise for you" I said "oh what is it?" She asked "you'll get it tomorrow, not telling you now" I told her. "Ow I can't wait for it, please please tell me, Rey!" She plead. "No, have some patience woman, You'll know tomorrow". "OK Rey, I'll wait, I can't though but I will" she sighed

"All the best for your work, I hope you achieve more in your life ahead!"

"Ok dear bye!" I said. "Byeeee". She said. With that I hung up the call and kept it aside.

I am more excited than you for tomorrow cara mia.

I busied myself at work. And realised that the name on the interview file was hers. No other woman with the same name.

I am so happy!
