Shhhhh! I can't believe it's raining—like, seriously! I really wish it would settle down soon.
With a long face, Lily couldn't help but let all her thoughts out. Finally, the rain didn’t stop pouring even after school ended. "I can’t believe how suddenly it got so heavy," she muttered to herself. Luck never seems to be on my side. I have to run all the way from here to the front! (She meant from her building to the school gate outside.)
"Yeahhhhhhhhhh! I can’t believe it! Even though I'm dripping wet, I can't help but think of a song: 'Let it be so, dashi run run!' Wow, I made it to the front; I'm safe now!" Slowly, a faint smile appeared on her face. It wasn’t meaningless; she felt a sense of superiority over other fans, as she couldn’t help but think of their songs in situations like this.
—BUT SOON REALITY HIT HER HARD.
As Lily stood at the school gate, drenched from head to toe, she couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. The rain poured down relentlessly, creating puddles that splashed around her as she danced in place, trying to shake off the cold. "What a day!" she exclaimed, her voice barely audible over the sound of the rain.
Just then, Minho appeared from around the corner, his backpack clinging to his back like a soggy sponge. "Lily! You’re soaked!" he called out, his tone a mix of concern and amusement. He was equally drenched, but there was something endearing about how he tried to keep his composure.
"I know! I feel like a drowned rat!" she replied, wiping water from her face. "But hey, look at me! I made it to the gate before the downpour turned into a waterfall!"
Minho chuckled, shaking his head. "You always find a reason to celebrate, don’t you?"
Suddenly, Lawrine appeared beside them, an umbrella held high above his head. "You two look like you could use this," he said with a smirk. "Or are you planning to swim home?"
Lily's eyes lit up. "Oh, thank you! But I think I’d rather run through the rain than be under an umbrella with you!" she told Lawrine, pushing aside her feelings of pain and rejection. She didn’t want to confront the hurt that lingered beneath her cheerful facade.
It was better to maintain some distance between them. She couldn’t help but turn red. If she were still the old Lily, she would have seized this golden opportunity ✨️ without hesitation.
But everything changed after that day. Even now, she wanted him by her side, yet she questioned the reason for that longing.
“It's better to live in reality,” she told herself at that moment.
Amidst all these thoughts, she found herself clenching her clothes tightly, which didn’t go unnoticed by Minho.
He couldn’t help but watch her every move; for some reason, it felt strange because every time this person showed up, it felt as if....
She even more shocked by his sudden change in attitude thinking to herself where is the high mighty attitude. Why acting suddenly so concern, she was filled with millions of question in her mind.
Why he even came to them, it doesn't really matter in the past so. She drifted apart from his umbrella. And started saying it all the cause of global warming is it time for a shower.
Pran arrived just in time to catch the tail end of their banter. She held another umbrella, looking slightly more composed than the others. "You guys are ridiculous," she said with a grin. "Let’s get out of this downpour before we all catch a cold."
Soon they huddled under the prans umbrella, Minho stole a glance at Lily, who was is still in her thoughts. Soon minho slightly hit her shoulder as if saying her " hey cheerup what happen?",Soon, they were all laughing together. The rain didn’t seem so dreary anymore.
"Let’s make a pact!" Minho declared suddenly. "No matter what happens, we’ll always find joy in the little things".
(It was ment for lily by the way as he can't directly say that)As they made their way through the rain-soaked streets, the camaraderie among them deepened. They shared stories and laughter, each step bringing them closer together.
Later that evening, as she sat in a cozy bed sipping hot chocolate, Lily felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for her friends. The rain had not only washed away the day’s worries but had also strengthened their bond.
And as they shared that moment, Lily realized that sometimes the storms in life lead to the most beautiful connections. The rain may have been heavy, but so was the joy they found within it.
She was still confused,
That reaction on his face I never seen that before why he was like that. He shouldn't act like that, what will I do if he keep acting that way. I know it's not big deal for him,but it's makes me feel special.
