## Lily's POV

We were strolling down the street, the rhythm of our footsteps mingling with the laughter in the air. But then he did something unexpected, and my heart fluttered-an exhilarating sensation I had never experienced before.

I struggled to manage my feelings and offered him a shy smile. He chuckled at my awkwardness, his laughter ringing like music. "It's like walking down the aisle," he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

I hadn't anticipated that at all.

"Ha, don't act like that! It's just how I feel," I replied, my cheeks warming. "I would love to do that-if you don't mind, of course. Everyone feels this way." He quickly masked his thoughts with another expression, his hand brushing nervously against his neck and then his face.

As he stumbled over his words, blushing furiously, I found it utterly endearing. The way he fumbled was both funny and charming.

For me, those gestures and feelings were surreal; I could never have imagined being with someone like him. I noticed his palms were damp with sweat-a telltale sign of nerves, as if our connection was igniting a fire in him too.

Curiosity bubbled within me about how we had even met and how we had fallen for each other. Questions swirled in my mind, but I hesitated to ask anyone; it might sound strange.

Summoning my courage, I edged closer to him. He noticed my nervousness as I wiped my sweaty palms on my jeans. With a gentle smile, he took out his handkerchief and softly dabbed my forehead.

"What's troubling you?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

"How did you know?" I replied, surprised.

"Well, your face loses its charm when something's bothering you. Didn't you notice?" he teased.

A warm glow spread through me at his observation. Someone actually noticed those little things about me-things I hadn't even recognized myself.

In that moment, I realized this was what I had always longed for: warmth, a smile, a presence that made everything feel right. Whether it was fate or coincidence didn't matter; having someone like him was what truly counted.

"When did you realize you liked me?" I asked, my voice steady but curious. It wasn't embarrassment; I genuinely wanted to know how it all began for him.

His grip loosened slightly, and I could see the gears turning in his mind. Suddenly, he seemed hesitant and covered his face. "It's okay; you don't have to answer," I blurted out, panicking as I saw his expression change. "Don't be sad; I'm sorry!"

He slowly removed his hands from his face and leaned closer, whispering, " My very first memory was loving you, Didn't you realize? I've always regarded you as my fated one."

(This isn't what she expected.)

###Lily's pov

WTF, he's so close! But why can't I move? Why am I giving in? Get back-don't come closer! F***, he's just too close. Wait, is it that moment? Will it be our first kiss?

I closed my eyes, clenching my jeans tightly. After some time, I felt his hands brushing through my hair. I opened my eyes.

He chuckled softly.

I was totally embarrassed and gave him a little push.

"Call me by my name! Why do you keep avoiding it?" I teased, but inside I felt a rush of excitement.

"Wait! I don't even know your name!" Panic surged through me as I realized how silly I must seem-tagging along without knowing who he was.

"My name? Nah, it's too hard to spell," he replied playfully.

"No problem! I'll learn; just teach me!" I shot back, feeling a thrill at the thought of discovering more about him.

"Okay, repeat after me," he instructed.

"Alright," I said, feeling like I was on top of the world. This was exactly what I had hoped for.

"My name is-"

Not so hard! Finally, I would get to know his name!

"Still anything for you, love," he said with a grin.

"My name is..."
