The two boys woke up cuddling in each other's arms, naked, feeling each other's breath on their bodies, warmth being shared between them. Christian woke up first and moved to face Cameron. He felt a little pain, but nothing he couldn't handle. He loved this boy so much, it scared him. He ran his fingers along Cameron's stomach causing Cameron to turn his head. Eyes opened and the first thing he saw was brown orbs staring right back at him. Cameron placed a kiss on Christian's forehead and massaged his hips.
"How are you feeling?" Cameron asked in his deep morning voice.
"The best I've ever felt." Christian answered honestly.
"Me too, baby" Cameron closed his eyes and smiled.
"No, mister, we have chores to do today." Christian lightly smacked his chest.
"Can't we do that tomorrow?" Cameron whined like a baby.
"No, silly," Christian laughed.
The two boys got dressed and headed back home. Just as they made it to the barn, a pickup truck came barreling down the driveway.
"Baby, who's that?" Cameron asked.
"I don't know," Christian answered, not recognizing the truck.
The truck came to a stop and out came a tall man with his back facing the house. Cameron felt his protective mode on and pushed Christian behind him. Christian peeked over his shoulder. The man turned around and Christian thought he was going to throw up.
"What the fuck are you doing here, Lawrence?" Christian stormed up to him. Cameron's eyes were blown wide once he realized this person is Lawrence Miller.
"Christian! I'm so happy to see you!" Lawrence hugged Christian.
Cameron felt his jealousy rise as he clenched his hands into fist.
"What are you doing here," Christian pushed Lawrence away.
"I came to see you of course; you never answered my letters." Lawrence pouted.
Cameron wanted to punch that pout and send this man to the moon.
"You abandoned me. You said you would get me out and you never did, you never even came to visit me. Why would I answer your letters?" Christian cried.
Cameron came up to them, deciding to finally make his presence known.
"Excuse me, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." Cameron said politely.
"I don't know who you are, but this is between me and Christian not you big guy." Lawrence said.
"I'm Christian's boyfriend, so you better watch the next thing that comes out of your mouth." Cameron warned.
Lawrence looked surprised but quickly masked that. "Christian, please give me a chance to explain myself."
"Okay, you get one hour." Christian said, surprising both of them. "But Cameron's coming, too."
Cameron breathed out in relief.
The three boys went to the local diner, and it was so awkward even the waitress could feel it.
"Explain," Christian said simply.
"I never told you this, but the night we had our first we were caught." Lawrence said.
"No, we weren't, the room was empty, and the hallway was empty when I left." Christian said, confused.
"Well, I stayed in the room to um. Clean up a bit." Lawrence coughed and looked at Cameron. "And when I left, the director of the asylum saw me leaving. Apparently, they knew about us sneaking around in there."
Christian looked surprised.
"They pulled me in the next day to tell me about your diagnosis and that you're crazy. It would be best to leave the asylum and forget about you." Lawrence said sadly.
"And you listened to them?" Christian almost screamed. Cameron put his hand on his thigh. Christian squeezed Cameron's hand for comfort and reassurance.
"Hey, I was just as young and impressionable as you were at the time. I didn't want to, but they told me I could go home and that's what I did. But I regret it so much. I still love you." Lawrence confessed.
Cameron wanted to say something so bad, but this is not his conversation. He trusted Christian.
"I know neither of us wanted to be there and we were impressionable, but you hurt me so badly. You had your chance, but I love Cameron, and he is who I want to be with." Christian excused himself to the restroom.
"I want you to leave and I never want to see you again," Cameron said to Lawrence and went to stand up.
"You better watch your back," Lawrence said. "Christian is mental."
Cameron punched Lawrence so hard causing his nose to bleed.
"You say one more thing about him, I dare you, asshole." Cameron threatened.
Lawrence went to leave but Cameron saw red. He slammed Lawrence into the wall and punched him over and over again. Lawrence pushed Cameron into a table, knocking it over. Lawrence got on top of Cameron punching him in the face. Christian came out of the bathroom and screamed at the sight of the two beating each other up. Christian tried pulling Cameron off of Lawrence, but he was in a trance.
Next thing they know sirens are heard outside the diner.
-Time Skip-
Cameron was sitting on a bench in the police station while Christian was talking to the sheriff. Christian walked over to Cameron.
"We're free, your dad bailed you out, but he wants to see you home promptly." Christian said.
"Great," Cameron replied.
"Is that asshole gone?" Cameron said.
"Yes, baby. He left." Christian said, stroking Cameron's hair, calming him instantly.
The two boys walked home and after taking a shower together they went to bed holding each other in their arms.
