Christian woke up from his deep sleep and walked inside the kitchen. It was still early, so he wanted Cameron to sleep a little more. There on the table was a newspaper on the front cover "WAR" is all he can see. Christian feels a lump in his throat and keeps turning the pages of the newspaper. A few pages in the word "homosexual" catches his attention.
Christian reads the article all about how homosexuals are treated by the enemy and more specifically, this couple who lost their lives because they were caught kissing in front of a shop at night. They were brutally murdered. Christian looked down to his chest to see what was engraved on his chest. A tear left his eye as he put the paper down.
Christian took a deep breath and walked into their bedroom. He lifted the blankets and joined Cameron in bed. He snuggled into his side and left feathery kisses in hopes to wake him up. Christian was successful when he heard Cameron groan and turn his head.
"Why'd you stop kissing me?" Cameron pouted.
Christian giggled and continued leaving kisses on his arm, neck, jawline until finally their lips connected.
Christian got on top of Cameron as their kiss got more heated.

Christian laid back down next to Cameron both panting and sweating.
"Can we go on a date today?" Christian asked.
"What's the occasion?" Cameron asked, kissing his sweaty forehead.
"Do we need an occasion?" Christian laughed.
"No, we don't." Cameron smiled.
Christian got up out of the bed walking to the window. Cameron was shamelessly staring at Christian's naked godly body. Cameron walked up behind Christian back hugging him as they stared out the window.
"It's snowing!" Christian said happily.
"What are we going to do now?" Cameron said sadly.
"Don't give me that grumpy look we can still have our date!" Christian exclaimed.
"Let's go make snowmen!" Christian said joyfully.
"What are we 5!" Cameron laughed.
"Come on, old man, let's go!" Christian laughed.
"For your information, I'm younger than you." Cameron laughed but stopped when he saw the sad look on Christian's face.
"Come on, buttercup, let's go make snowmen." Cameron said.
Cameron and Christian raced outside. It was snowing pretty heavily bringing both boy's delight.
Christian stuck out his arms and let his head tilt back letting the snow hit his face. Cameron watched Christian with a look of adoration in his eyes.
"You're so beautiful," Cameron said.
Christian was reminded of the first time Cameron said that to him and blushed deeply.
"Are you cold, sweetheart?" Cameron said, rubbing his hands and putting them on Christian's cheeks.
"I love you," Christian said.
Cameron smiled and kissed Christian. "I love you too."The two made snow angels, made snowmen, and had a snowball fight. They let their youthful sides come to the surface and had fun. For a moment, they pushed the depressing things happening in the world out of their minds and focused on each other and their love.
That night, Christian made dinner for just him and Cameron.
"Why are there only two plates?" Elise asked as she walked in the kitchen.
"Make your own food! Now leave!" Christian swatted his sister's hand away who tried tasting what was in the pot.
Cameron just laughed and helped Christian by carrying the pot to the table.
"What's the occasion, Christian, seriously?" Cameron asked.
"Well..."
Cameron grabbed Christian's hands sensing the nervousness from the boy.
"What is it? You can tell me." Cameron encouraged.
"Cameron, I support you enlisting in the war." Christian said as he held Cameron's hands tightly.
Cameron never expected this.
"Are you serious?" Cameron said and ran to Christian's side kneeling next to him.
Christian looked down to Cameron and nodded his head trying not to cry.
"But I have on condition." Christian said, stroking Cameron's hair.
"What is it, love?"
"You will make it out of this war, and you will make it home to me, do you understand?" Christian cried.
"Yes, love," Cameron said and connected their foreheads together.
-Time Skip-
Cameron was watching Christian feed the horses and noticed an itchy feeling on his cheek. He felt his cheek and his facial hair getting longer.
"Christian!" Cameron said a little too loudly causing Christian to drop the bucket and feed to go everywhere.
"You really were never meant to be on a farm, were you?" Christian cutely glared at Cameron.
"Hehe, sorry baby," Cameron said awkwardly, smiling.
"Why did you call me anyway?" Christian asked.
"Can you shave my facial hair?" Cameron said but looked like he wanted to say more. "And can you shave my hair, I will need to anyway."
Ever since they became a couple, Christian has a habit of stroking Cameron's blonde hair which calms both of them.
Christian sighed and nodded. "Come inside, I am done anyway."
Cameron sat on the living room sofa and Christian sat in his lap. He lathered foam all over Cameron's face and was about to shave his facial hair. Cameron was in a trance staring at Christian. They have gone through so much together. Together. He can't imagine being away from his lover, but he needs to do this.
"What are you thinking so deeply about," Christian said but realized Cameron can't talk. "Oh, right." Christian cutely giggled.
Cameron will miss hearing that sound.
Christian was done and dipped a cloth in the bowl of water to remove the excess foam. Now they moved into the kitchen and Cameron sat on the chair. Christian gave a kiss to the top of Cameron's head making Cameron smile.
Before Cameron knew it, he felt a lot lighter as he didn't have hair on his head anymore. He put his hands on his head and felt his head getting used to the feeling. He turned around and Christian gasped.
"What's wrong," Cameron said. "Is it ugly?"
"No, you look so handsome," Christian said.
"Thank you, honey," Cameron hugged the boy.
Cameron helped Christian clean up and both went to bed after being exhausted from their day.
