"Cyra, Cyra wake up," Merlin pleaded, shaking the shoulders of the unconscious girl. When she showed no signs of budging, Merlin gave up.
The two had been sold as slaves, as they were both in chains in a cell. The "food" had been brought in earlier, and a very rude guard had kindly informed them that they'd be auctioned off in two days time, and that their owner would want to see them the next day at dawn. Merlin didn't know how long the two had been out, but he knew Gwen and Arthur were bound to be worried. He just wished Arthur didn't do something stupid like send out search parties.
"Where am I? What happened? Merlin?" Cyra murmured as she came to.
" Cyra thank goodness you're awake, we need to get out of here as soon as possible," Merlin whispered to her. She still looked bewildered.
"But where is here? How did we get here?" Cyra kept asking. She wanted to at least have a good idea of what was happening before she sprang into action.
"We've been sold as slaves- we're to be auctioned off in two days. Now we need to plan an escape," Merlin persisted.
"We've got no weapons- and how many men are even out there? Our chances are very slim." Cyra pointed out the facts.
"Cyra I'm just going to come right out and say it- I have magic," Merlin stated, waiting for her reaction.
"You're a sorcerer and a Dragonlord? Wow." Cyra said, a bit taken back at how similar they were.
"Yeah- wait how did you know I was a Dragonlord?" Merlin asked.
"Sticking with being completely honest, I was the dark green dragon in the clearing," Cyra admitted. Merlins eyes went as wide as saucers.
"You've got to be kidding," Merlin said, dumbfounded.
"I'm also a sorceress, for your information. Although not very trained with magic, I make a pretty good dragon," Cyra tried to laugh.
"But why were you fighting Kilgharrah?" Merlin finally snapped out of it.
"We were sparring- I wanted to see if I could finally beat the old man, but that's not important. What is important is getting out of here." Cyra reminded him.
" Right, right. So you can just transform into a dragon?" Merlin asked.
"Merlin now is not the- oh you want me to," Merlin nodded at her, "Gotcha. But let's wait until dark- that way they'll have less guards around. I don't want that many casualties." Cyra said, and Merlin agreed.
And so the two waited for hours on end, hoping that night would fall soon. When the sun finally set, Merlin uttered a few quick spells and the chains unlocked. Cyra rubbed her hands and started to prepare herself.
"Merlin this is very important. before we're out of here and I've crushed these people you need to grab my pack from the guards," Cyra pleaded.
"You know the sword can always be replaced, right?" Merlin reminded her.
"Well not only is the sword in there, but so are clothes for me to change into. Unless you brought extra, I'd rather not lose that bag." Merlin went pink at the thought and just nodded.
"You ready?" Merlin asked.
"Yeah I think- except I should tell you that I also have a damaged wing that's going to need a lot of mending after this," she tried to lighten the mood, but Merlin just nodded.
"Here goes nothing," Cyra warned him, and began her transformation.
Her change was the same as last except her damaged wing folded out with another loud crack. Of course, her huge dragon frame couldn't fit in the tiny cell, so the walls crumbled around her. As the guards tried to slash at her, but she batted them away.
Merlin snuck past the occupied guards and snatched their packs from the guard's table. Seeing cell keys, Merlin's conscious got the better of him and he unlocked the two cells next to them, as well as tossing the keys to the prisoners for the chains.
"Time to go!" Cyra though to Merlin, as he dashed back into the crumbled cell. She bowed for him and he climbed on to her back. Cyra heaved and was eventually able to take off- flying out over the surrounding woods.
She eventually set down at a clearing far from where they had been held. Her landing was even worse than before because of her damaged wing. Merlin clambered off with a concerned look on his face.
"You need to set that wing-let me help," Merlin started.
"Merlin I appreciate it but," Cyra tried to reply back, but Merlin cut her off.
"I'm both an experienced physician and the last Dragonlord. So I'm not taking a no for an answer, Cyra," Merlin replied defiantly.
"It's Ardhshëm," Cyra said feebly as she stretched out her wing for him, "at least in this form,"
"Nice to meet you Ardhshëm, I'm Emrys as the druids know me." The two shared a smile before Merlin really set to work on the wing.
After straightening out the bones, Merlin went to get nearby logs for a splint. He tried to wrap bandages, but in the end he had to bind it with rope due to the wings size.
"I'm going to make a solvent that's sure to straighten that up with three days of rest or so.Will you be okay here?" Merlin asked the drowsy dragon.
"If anyone wants to come after a dragon, I could use the excersize." Cyra tried to joke. Merlin gave her a smile before setting off.
As Ardhshëm dozed off, she unconciously started to transform back into a human. Eventually she was back to human form except for her wing sticking oddly out of her back. As she slept, she felt something prick her shoulder and everything, for the second time, went black.

Merlin had gathered everything needed and had whipped it into a paste. All he needed to do was apply it to the fractures and they could just camp out for a few days while the wing healed. No big deal.
Returned back to the clearing, he found exactly what he was dreading; Cyra had been taken, again.
~~
A bit shorter than the last, but I think enough happened to cut it off here.
And I know it's bad of me to keep her getting captured, but think about it; the first time they were sold as slaves, and the second there was a deformed naked lady randomly in the woods. Anyone who had come along would have tried to do something, it just happens to be the people who you don't want to try and help.
Hope you enjoyed!
