"So that should be all we need? This sure is a lot for meeting with a few Druids," Cyra whined as she stuffed her bag further.
"Well we have to visit a total of four different Druid colonies, and then track down a dragon and summon Kilgharrah," Merlin sighed, "Not to mention there's still the stuff that Arthur's bringing,"
Cyra fumbled with her words. The king was going with them?
"You, uh, didn't mention that Arthur would be joining us," Cyra tried to add casually. That means that the one and only King of Camelot would have to see her in her true cursed form.
"I didn't think it would be an issue, I guess. Speaking of Arthur, I have to go make him pack," Merlin sighed, placing his overflowing pack next to Cyra's on the floor.
"I should probably catch up with Gwen before we go," Cyra trailed off, and she and Merlin headed down to the royal chambers hall. Merlin walked into Arthur's chambers with no hesitation, while Cyra knocked on Gwen's door delicately.
"Merlin! You're early," Arthur exclaimed from his desk. He had been reading over some of the letters fellow royalty had sent him concerning legalised magic.
"Cyra lent an extra hand with the potions and charms. Finished a few hours earlier," Merlin commented as he started to pack for Arthur.
"So you told her about our trip, I figure," Arthur said as he stretched out his arms.
"You realise she's coming with us, right? Or did I forget to tell you too?" Merlin asked, running his hand over the back of his neck.
"That's not your decision, Merlin," Arthur stated with an annoyed face.
"She's necessary for this mission, and if you don't want her along you can try and talk her out of it," Merlin chuckled.
"Is she a Druid, then?" Arthur asked, trying to sound casual.
"Not a Druid, no, but- look it's for her to tell, okay?" Merlin fumbled with his words.
"Fine, I'll trust you just this once, but if she ruins this mission the blame's on you," Arthur smiled at his friend, who returned the gesture.
Meanwhile, across the hall, Gwen was rushing to answer her door.
"Hello? Oh Cyra come in, come in," Guinevere ushered the sorceress into her chambers.
"Figured we really needed to do some catching up," Cyra commented as she walked in.
"So whatever happened with the blacksmith? Gwaine mentioned it the other day,"
"I didn't realise he was completely against magic until he had me by the throat," Cyra tried to joke.
"Please tell me he was arrested for that," Gwen pleaded.
"I think he was let off with a warning, but it's fine, Gwen, it's bound to happen."
"Well what are you going to do now? You know, if you need," Gwen trailed off.
"I'm actually going to be training under Gaius, with a bit of healing and I even get to learn magic," Cyra grinned, thinking about the training she's always wanted.
"That's great! So that means you've heard about this idiotic trip of Arthur's then?" Gwen sighed, obviously worried.
"Well I wouldn't call it idiotic..,"
"You wouldn't?" Gwen looked shocked, "I mean, sure we need to make peace with the Druids. But they respect us already, I'm really worried about him meeting up with dragons,"
"Dragons are very respectable creatures, Gwen. And I do believe Arthur can take care of himself," Cyra added awkwardly.
"I know he can, and I have faith in Merlin, but from what we saw in Camlann, dragons are so powerful and ruthless I just don't know,"
"I can promise both Arthur and Merlin will be fine, Gwen," Cyra reassured, "After all, I'm going on the trip with them,"
"You are? How long has that been happening?" Gwen exclaimed.
"Found out today. Speaking of the trip, I really need to meet with the boys and find out when we're leaving," Cyra trailed off, and Gwen sighed.
"Just- be careful, please?" Gwen hugged her friend, wishing she wasn't surrounded by people who keep putting themselves in danger.
"I'll be fine, Gwen," Cyra tried to reassure both Gwen and herself.
As the two ladies said goodbye, Arthur was going over the plan with Merlin once again.
"Now I've only heard that Druids live in this area, so that will take extra time to locate them," Arthur went on, being interrupted by a knock at the door. Merlin walked over and answered the large door for the king.
"Figured you'd still be here," Cyra said as she smiled at Merlin.
"Cyra, come in, we were just going over the plan," Merlin held the door open, and Cyra shyly made her way over to the king.
"So Merlin's just informed me that you'll be joining us," Arthur started.
"I said sorry for not telling you before, Arthur," Merlin defended Cyra.
"So what's the plan, here?" Cyra quickly changed the topic, saving the peace between the two.
"First, we're going east..."

"So Arthur will be leaving tomorrow for his ludicrous journey?" King Lot sneered, lounging upon his throne.
"Yes, sire. He will be visiting Druid colonies around Camelot," Leo reported, Peter standing at his side.
"Including the Fool's Forrest?" King Lot asked, checking the map to see the Forrest bordering both lands.
"We believe it to be his last stop, sire," Peter piped up.
"Excellent. Is he going alone?" Lot waved away a servant who had started to enter the room.
"He is bringing his manservant, who we believe to be a sorcerer, and a filthy witch," Leo reported, spitting at the reference to his former student.
"We will have to catch them by surprise, my Lord," Peter added.
"Nonsense, the two would have only just started magic, they can not overpower us," The king waved away the silly notion. Now, to wait.
