Operation Revolution - ARMS

Plan heist stage 1

When Ribbon Girl and Mechanica arrived in Min Min's room, Master Mummy was already there. Within ten minutes, the Springs, KC, Twintelle and Rhielle came too.

Each of the ARMS League members' rooms were around the size of a normal hotel room. The eight of them sat in a circular shape in the large space in Min Min's room while having their dinner.

Master Mummy stood outside their circle, as a) he was too big and b) Min Min had already briefly told him in advance.

"Did you eat yet, Min?" Ribbon Girl asked, opening her takeaway bowl. The lid made a squeak noise.

She shook her head, "nah, I'm not hungry. I think I'll pass tonight."

"Just make sure you get your proper nutrition," said KC.

Min Min nodded.

"So what do you propose we do?" said Spring Man, "how we gonna annihilate Coyle?"

"I've thought about it for a long time," Min Min said calmly. Like the others, she was sitting cross-legged but while the others had food in their hands, she had a pillow. She seemed nervous too, as she was keeping her head down and braiding the loose threads of the pillow.

Min Min heaved a heavy sigh before pressing her lips together. "I've decided... we're not messing with the crystal or the device."

There were looks of confusion from her friends, which was reasonable, as Min Min was saying the heist shouldn't involve what it was supposed to be for.

"W-what?" Rhielle asked, "what do you mean?"

"After careful consideration..." Min Min replied, in a much quieter and dead voice, "I've decided that the crystal is too dodgy."

"Easily agreeable," answered KC, "how can such a small piece of glass hold so much energy?"

"What I mean is," said Min Min, "perhaps we should try another path."

"That's a bit cryptic, Min, you wanna... expand on that?" Mechanica asked.

Master Mummy handed Min Min the piece of paper. She took it and scanned it quickly before inhaling deeply and giving an answer.

"The crystal gets energy from ARMS being in use right?"

Her friends nodded.

"I was just thinking about this, while it is the crystal with all the power, it's actually the device holding the crystal that uses the power. Just like how a vacuum cleaner can clean your floor, it is us that controls it, when it's on and where it goes."

She paused for a while, as if being confused by her own words.

"I think we should target the device instead this time."

Spring Man was about to speak when Min Min stopped him by speaking first, "I know, that's what we did in the previous heist, with Mecha and her USB stick. But I never said the device we should target is the device holding the crystal."

A sense of understanding started to seep through Min Min's friends.

"You're thinking we should mess with the energy transmitters instead," said Twintelle, getting everybody's attention. There was something about her somber but elegant voice that filled it with wisdom. Min Min nodded slowly, staring into Twintelle's aquamarine eyes, who stared back.

"There's another special device that installed the transmitters into our ARMS. You think by finding it and using it to remove them, we can still appear normal and working hard to Coyle while she's not getting what she wants," Twintelle continued.
