I challenge two gods and win

After a brisk 20 minute walk we reached the water park. It looked abandoned and really creepy.

"I haven't seen many horror movies but this seems like the place that they tell you to avoid" Percy said

"Well I haven't seen any movies before so I'll have to take your word for it"

"Never like never, never?"

"Is there another kind?"

"Guess not?" He said with his stupid smile

He walked up to the entrance and I noticed something that shouldn't have been there.

"Percy wait!"

He was already in the machine.

"Adonis what is that!?"

Machines weren't my thing but I had an Uncle Kyle who was a mechanic, and he babysat me all the time.

As I examined it I noticed that the mechanism that should launch it into the person going through wasn't there.

"Adonis?" Percy said his fear creeping into his voice

"Push through it"

"What!?"

"Push through"

"But didn't you say that one of us was going to die or something?"

"Will you just do it bubble brain?"

I looked at me and at the machine and back at me.

"Okay but I won't die right?"

"Percy come on" I laughed

"It's not funny Adds"

"It's a little funny"

He finally pushed through it.

As I walked through I started explaining.

"It's meant to scare us not hurt us. Hephaestus wanted to know if someone came poking around his playground"

"Hephaestus? But doesn't he hate Ares?"

"Yea he does but he's the only god capable of this"

We started walking looking for his shield

"So Pink Princess why do you think Ares spilt without his shield?"

What did he call me?

"Well Ares was always in love with-"

"Aphrodite! Your mom. But they met at her husband's park that's messed up"

"Yea I know but if they did meet here then they had to have met in somewhere specific"
