I get Percy claimed

I had been training, preparing all day with Clarisse and her cabin.

"Fix your form" Clarisse barked at one of her siblings

"Why are you not training?" She asked me

"Because I don't want to"

"If we're going to win you need to-"

"Train hard, Fight with an iron will, blah,blah,blah"

Clarisse aimed to smack the back of my head my usual punishment for doing something like that. I covered my head with my hand, she changed course when she hit my hand. She aimed for my cheek and I covered it again. Now she was angry and went to smack my forehead and I laid my neck down so she missed entirely.

"Ha, that's why I don't need to train"

"Well training makes-"

"Perfect" I finished

"You little" Clarisse started before chasing me around for a bit.

"You can't touch me, Rue been doing this since I was 5"

"Haha oh I'll show you"

"What how to get blasted with toilet water" I said while bolting to my cabin. Clarisse accepted defeat and went back to training.

When lunch came we all sat to eat. My sisters asked about capture the flag which was strange.

"So capture the flag, hey" one asked

"It's usual why" I replied

"Well that new boy Percy is kind of cute you think"

The real answer was no absolutely not. But I replied with
"Uh... well maybe with a spruce up or something else potentially"

"Really!?"

"Yeah why not" said my mouth but my brain said no.

The only real reason I was even talking to him was because of Annabeth and the desire to get a quest, that may sound bad but they hadn't spoken much and they didn't seem compatible.
I wasn't going to get attached to someone who didn't like me I had been down that road before and would love to avoid that crossroad at all costs.

"Heroes it's time" Chiron announced
"The games begin" Chiron finishes while I mouth the words making me siblings snicker

We gathered on the left side of the river staring at Annabeth's team.

"The first team to retrieve the opposing teams flag and return it across the river shall be the victor. As always, there will be no make maiming and no killing. I trust that these rules will be respected.. and any magical items you may possess are permitted as well. Every camper who is not injured must play prisoners may be disarmed but may not be bound or gagged. Let the games begin."
Chiron would say something like that then let my siblings not play capture the flag.
The conch shell blew and the rest of her team screamed. She however did not it was so stupid to me why do I have to scream to show I'm ready for battle I would much rather silently kill somebody then shout at them.
Blue team did their battle call and started walking away.
I walked towards the river, Clarisse put her there because of my slight ability to move water I had been messing around with it and got better, so naturally Clarisse used it to her advantage. I waited singing slightly, I liked singing but didn't often because of reasons. I knew Clarisse hunted in the woods for the first couple of hours she enjoyed doing that. She was so weird sometimes.

When someone finally got to the river it was Percy Clarisse and two of her cabinmates.
Percy hit the ground with decent force because I heard him hit the ground. When I turned Clarisse was pointing her spear at his chest she laughed when he tripped from fear.
"Clarisse!" I shouted containing her attention for a moment.
I used my charm speak "Stop! This is my territory he is mine!"
Clarisse froze backed off of him. Percy stood with a confused expression. I had no weapon yet, I grasped the air like I was holding a sword and pulled my sword out of thin air. Now Percy was shocked. I lunged not maiming him but getting my sword extremely close to him. I noticed cuts along him Clarisse had hurt this kid for no apparent reason. Almost on cue Clarisse and he siblings regained control over themselves and started charging at Percy. I backed off looking for a new angle and Annabeth, my brain had pieced together that Annabeth left him but didn't leave leave him. I was brought back to reality when Clarisse hit soprano.
"Why you so buff sis you said fe fi fo fum"
Clarisse grabbed Percy the conch blew and Luke ran over to the river with their flag.
"Clarisse put him down" I demanded she looked at me and threw him down slightly.
"Not bad hero" I heard Annabeth's voice say she appeared taking off her invisibility cap

"Where you here the whole time?" Percy asked

"Yes" said casually

"You were here the whole time and you didn't help me?"

"Yes" Annabeth said

"Why?"

I offered my hand to Percy and he took it.

"Listen...Percy, I'm sorry" I said shoving him into the lake

"What is wrong with you!?" He shouted
Annabeth had her in on a plan this plan.
Annabeth and I watched in amazement as the cuts on his body began to heal.

"I don't understand" Percy said looking in amazement as his cuts began to heal.
A green glow appeared above his head, a trident the symbol of Poseidon.
Percy was a son of the sea god, a child of the big three a forbidden demigod.
