I kicked the door to the diner down.

I walked to Ares table and threw the shield down.

"Where's our ride?" I asked seething

He laughed at me

You'd think this douche would learn his lesson the first time but not he decided to open a can of woop- ass at the worst time.

I grabbed his shirt with both my hands and I watched Percy scamper to the other side of the booth.

"Look tough guy, I don't have the patience for this so you either walk me to the ride or I bloodbend your body there and trust me it won't be pretty."

He nodded and I let him go.

He stood up and I stopped him.

I put my hand out

"Necklace" I said

"I can't-"

"Up bup bup no I said 'necklace' now fork it over"

He smiled and handed it to me and shoved it in my pocket.

"If it gets us where we need to go it doesn't matter"

"Get in, or don't I really don't care. But I'm a few hours this thing is gonna be at the Lotus Casino in Vegas. Hermes hangs out there you play your cards right and his personal driver can get you to L.A. in minutes. Here. Clothes. Cash. Drachmas to summon Hermes. I'd wish you luck but what good would it do you?"

Percy snapped this time

"We're not gonna fail"

"Don't worry your dad had plenty of kids he stopped caring about once he lost interest"

"Like yours?" I piped up "Last time I checked your only flex in life is that you didn't get thrown off Olympus at birth, and bang my mom. That's about it so don't act high and mighty because you haven't done much big shoots and I don't think that will change anytime soon"

He turned to me

"Your mom has plenty of useless daughters too don't worry you'll have plenty of company"

My patience disappeared, any fuck I had flew away.

"We're not going to fail and I'm getting pretty tired of you saying it"

I started blood bending he choked and gagged. My eyes began to glow bright pink.

"Adonis!" AB shouted
