Wow. That memory of me and Silas must be my worst one. I can't believe I blocked that out. Wait, never mind. I can. I blocked out all memories of me and Silas.

"Cheers to the ones that we got..." Rosn sang mockingly as he waltzed in. I spin around to find him, smirking.

"Wait 'till I tell Dad that you're using the spell book he gave you to uncover lost memories of you and Silas." Rosn snickered, his voice dripping with venom.

"Go ahead. I'm not hiding anything. I'm not ashamed either. I have a right to what's in my head." I practically yelled at him.

"We're just trying to protect you!" Rosn half protested, half shouted.

"Well, what a fine job you're doing!" I yelled, my voice heavy with sarcasm.

"Whatever. I'm still telling Dad." His voice genuinely hurt. He turned, and Rosn walked out the door without saying another word.

"Maybe I was too hard on him?" I thought, my head spinning. No. He deserved that. I go back to studying.

10 minutes later, I see Dad and Rosn walk into the study room. I immediately look at the ground. After all, Rosn is my brother. I should not have talked to him like that. But then, he was humming that song. It's really starting to drive me crazy.

"Nolite cantus." I chant. The song finally stopped, for the spell I cast made it so.

"Rosn tells me you're using the book I gave you to recover memories that were taken from you. He also tells me you're not ashamed of anything you're doing. Is this true?" Dad inquired.

"Every word. I believe I have a right to my own memories, don't you think?" I asked bravely.

"Well, Lino wants to pay you a visit. He's in the living room." Dad says as he leaves the room. Rosn turns to look at me coldly.

"Next time, you'll be grounded. I'll make sure of that." Rosn then left the room, his threat hanging in the chilled air. Stupid furnace.

After Rosn left I cleaned up my mess. Something only the twins and I are capable of. As soon as I get to the living room, Lino practically ponces on me.

"Ok...You are sure to knock me over one of these days." I say. Somewhere along the lines of me saying that, I was teleported to his house. I completely lost it.

"DUDE! YOU HAVE ACTUALLY GOT TO STOP TELEPORTING ME!" I shout at him.

"Eh, sorry 'bout that." Lino tells me without a second glance.

"Vampires are so stubborn." I whisper under my breath.

"Witches are mean." Lino counters. Drat vampires excellent hearing.

"Okay, why did you teleport me here?" I ask, changing the subject and getting to the point.

"Patience Syna, all in good time." Lino says as he leads me to his living room.

"No! Lino, you teleported me here, without my permission, I might add, and now you wont tell me why!? Talk about insanity!" I snap. Lino swiftly grabs my shoulders and knocks me to the ground. I scramble to get up but he knocks me down again.

"You're not going anywhere." Lino says as a shadow appears out of nowhere. In my surprise, I was only able to gasp out one word:

"Silas..." After I said his name, I blacked out.
