“Get up. You're not going to sit trial are you?” I say mockingly to Silas. Rosn runs to me right after I say that. Lonya, still holding Lino’s hand(strictly for comfort, Lonya is not interested in males and Lino has his eyes set on my brother), comes to me.

“I informed your parents you were dead. Mom took your head away from us. Next time, we’ll just sew your head onto your body and lay you on my couch.” I say sarcastically as I run into Lonya’s arms.

“When I actually die, as I will, as nothing in this world is truly immortal, nature will always find a way to keep the balance between life and death equal, but, I want you to know, you will never be alone. I will always be with you, no matter what. Between doing something right and doing something wrong, I will guide you on the right path.” Lonya tells me, super seriously.

“Dang it. I wanted to be guided on the left path.” After I say that, Lonya smacks me in the face.

“Oh, and when I die, I want to be buried by the catholic church.” Lonya says, no guilt for hitting me whatsoever.

“If you die before you turn 21, I will have Syna commit necromancy to bring you back. I don't care how much black magic she has to use. YOU WILL TURN 21! I PROMISE!” Rosn says, walking up to us. Suddenly, Mealé, one of the demon twins, comes in wearing a skirt that I swear could not be any shorter.

“Y-you look n-nice,” Lonya stutters. Such a simp. I leaned in to Lonya and whispered:

“You go girl! Go, tell her how you feel! I support you, just GO!” Lonya turns a bright red while I’m over here resisting the urge to call her a tomato. I start giggling.

“Lino, I thought you were not able to come back? I mean, Silas is a psycho and he's got some screws loose, but he isn't stupid.” I inquire. Lino looks at me with a cool stare.

“I had already come back to life, Tona just put me back to sleep. She knew what she was doing, she just didn't want to upset her sister.” That makes sense. Since Tonalé and Mealé are twins, and demons, they can feel each other's pain. Tonalé is 65 minutes older than Mealé, so she feels the need to protect her little sister. Although, Tona has backed off of protecting Mealé a little bit, because that is now Lonya’s job. Yes, the crush is mutual, but no one has enough bravery to ask the other out. I happen to glare out of the corner of my eye and see Silas with a grin on his face and chaining him to a wall. Dad starts to walk away when a face I thought I’d never see again walks in. Marie Euqinu Raymond-Silas’s mother.

As she stepped in, Silas beamed. He must have brought her back. Marie walks to Silas and begins to unchain him. When she is done, she tosses him a sword. Silas looks like he's readying himself to take on Rosn, who is currently beside me. Marie looks like she’s taking on the adults when I realize no one is trying to fight me. Rosn is knocked to the floor by Silas. As Rosn struggles to get up, Lonya and Mealé try to help Mom and Dad. I chant a ward off spell, but my magic isn't working. Plan B. I take my dagger from its socket and get ready to lunge. Then, I make the mistake of looking at Marie. Mom and Dad are on the floor, Lonya and Mealé are panting and bleeding, and Marie only has a tiny scratch on her forehead, just above her right eyebrow. A flash of rage flows through me, and I charge at Silas, only to have been pushed to the floor. I won't give up. I get up again, this time to have Marie put one arm around my waist, and the other arm around my neck.

“We aren't looking to kill you, but if we have to, we will.” Marie states coldly, her breath cold against my skin.

“Just cooperate and don't fight us. No matter what you do, we won’t hurt you. Not now, not yet. Though we have no problem hurting your friends and family. Just to be safe, we're taking Rosn.” Silas piped in as he picked Rosn up and threw him on his back. Marie then tries to shove something in my mouth. I give in and swallow it. I begin to feel faint, and all I want to do is close my eyes. Marie’s hands grab my shoulders. Light turns to dark before my very eyes. I drift down to sleep, right after I hear a “Be careful, don't hurt her,” from Silas.
