After the confrontation with my father, I decided I needed some fresh air and needed to take a walk. Too bad it had been raining and I got all wet. I slammed the door open and got water all over the floor.
"Dad! I'm home!" I yelled as I ran into the kitchen to grab a quick snack before I take a nap.
"Ok, bud." Dad says as he walks into the kitchen with me.
"Don't call me 'bud'. I'm taking my nap now." I say, rolling my eyes as I grab a chocolate bar and walk back towards my room.
"Ok. Be sure to put it back, though." He says sarcastically from inside the kitchen. I walk into my room, still in my school uniform, and crash onto my bed. I fall asleep instantly.
"Please, Syna. Come with me. We can be together. I love you!" I said to Syna.
"I...I can't. I won't. I refuse to be evil. I'm really sorry, Silas." Syna said as she ran away, tears streaming down her face. I fall to my knees and start crying. That's just the beginning of my wrath. Oceans, lakes and rivers overflow with my tears. People begin to drown. I have no remorse for what I'm about to do. I Wipe my tears and start setting things on fire. Water, fire, what am I missing? Electricity. I cut all the power line and start using a power I never knew I had to electrocute everyone who stands in my way. Then I woke up.
I head down to the kitchen for dinner, still in my school uniform and wearing a tear stained face. Dinner was a very awkward silence, but then again, everything with my father is awkward. I think he either heard me screaming, or just the fact that he noticed I had been crying. After dinner, I head back to my room. Scared to fall asleep again, I change into my pjs and start studying. I kinda want to make it into 5th grade next year. After some time, I feel my eyes begin to close. I drift off to sleep and my nightmares haunt me for the rest of the night.
After breakfast the next morning, I make my way to school. As I turn onto Wayside street, I make a close encounter with someone I know all too well. Lino. One of Syna's best friends. He doesn't even glance in my direction. Good. The less people I have to deal with, the better. Then, I randomly trip over something. I hear Lino laughing in the distance. He will pay. Mark my words, he'll pay. Just wait.
