I turned the key in the ignition and slammed on the gas, my only focus on getting to her. My heart pounded as I sped down the road, knowing that I had a gun in my pocket and that I was prepared to use it if it meant saving Sasha.

Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Ethan standing there, his eyes filled with determination. "Get up," he said, his voice steady. "I'm with you. We'll find Sasha and bring her back."

He crouched down beside me, his hand still on my shoulder. "You're not just my partner, Lucas. You're my brother, my family. I can't stand seeing you like this. We've spent our lives fearing the cops and the other gangs, but in the end, it's been Mr. Peter pulling the strings. We've been sheep, afraid of the wolves, but it's the shepherd who's been leading us to slaughter."

Ethan's words cut through the fog of despair, and I nodded, wiping my face. I wasn't alone in this. We would find Sasha. We had to.
