Sashas's pov:

It's been two days since Lucas and I officially became a couple, and they have been the happiest days of my life. Lucas feels like a gift, a compensation for all the pain I've endured in the past. But everything changed one morning when Lucas called me at 6 a.m., asking me to be ready in an hour for a surprise breakfast date. Excited, I quickly got up, brushed my teeth, did my skincare routine, and picked out an outfit a bright pink dress paired with white high-top sneakers and a matching white bag.

When I stepped outside, Lucas was already waiting for me. He looked tired as if he hadn't slept in days, with his hair slightly messy, but he was smiling. He was dressed in a dark green ribbed polo shirt, light beige trousers, and white sneakers.

As we drove, I noticed something was off

As we drove, I noticed something was off. He seemed distant, so I asked if something was bothering him, but he assured me everything was fine.

After nearly two hours of driving, we finally arrived at a beautiful house by the river.
Inside, I found a table overflowing with food, some dishes I'd never even seen before. Lucas pulled out a chair for me, and we began eating in an unusual silence. The tension grew until Lucas suddenly put down his fork, looking anxious. He started to speak, "Sasha, there's something I need to tell you..." But before he could finish, my phone buzzed. It was a message from the same unknown number that had contacted me before.

"Just a minute, Lucas. This could be important," I said as I opened the message. What I saw made my blood run cold was a photo of Lucas in an identity but with a different name: Leo, born in 1997. My heart dropped. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I stood up, trembling, and looked into his eyes. He rushed over, asking, "What's wrong? Is it bad news?" and tried to touch my arm.

"Don't you dare touch me," I snapped, tears welling up. "Leo," I added, watching him freeze, shock spreading across his face. Without another word, I grabbed my bag and headed for the door. He quickly blocked my way, locking the door and hiding the keys in his pocket.

"You're not going anywhere until we talk," he insisted, desperation in his voice.

I shoved him hard, shouting, "OPEN THE  DAMN  DOOR AND GET  OUT OF MY WAY!"

"No, I can't let you leave! I love you, Sasha. I know I lied, but I can't lose you. Please, let me explain!"

"Explain what? That you've been lying to me this whole time? That Lucas isn't even your real name? I thought I finally knew you, but I don't even know who you are!"

"Please, Sasha, let's sit down, and I'll tell you everything."

"I don't want to hear anything! I don't want to hear your voice!" I yelled, but he grabbed my hand, leading me to the sofa.

He began to explain, his voice trembling. "I don't know where to start, but I... I'm part of the gang that kidnapped you. They wanted revenge on your dad, so they sent me to get close to you, to gather information. But... from the moment I met you at school, when you fainted, and I bought you food... I was already falling for you. I've been protecting you ever since. Do you remember when I collapsed in your arms, I took the drugged soda meant for you? When I yelled at you in front of everyone, I was scared that the gang would do something to you. Every time I lied to you, I hated myself. I wanted to tell you so many times, but I was terrified of losing you."

"Congratulations, Lucas," I cut him off coldly, "you've already lost me." I grabbed my bag and headed to the door. "Open the door, Lucas."

He put his hand on my shoulder, pleading, "Sasha, please."

"OPEN THE DOOR" I screamed.

He unlocked it, defeated, and offered, "Let me take you home."

With no idea where I was, I had no choice but to accept. I got into the car, tears streaming down my face, as we drove away in silence
