I ran out of the room, my legs moving on their own as I rushed to my car. Every second felt longer than the last. my heart pounding in my chest. Stoplights, people, none of it mattered I was filled with panic, driving faster and weaving through traffic as quickly as I could.
As I approached the hospital, I could already see the chaos. . I parked and jumped out of the car, not even bothering to close the door behind me. I ran, my pulse pounding in my ears, my only thought: Sasha.
I made it to the front doors, but a police officer stepped in my way, blocking my path.
"Sir, you can't go in there," he said sternly, holding up a hand to stop me.
"SHE S MY WIFE!" I shouted, my voice breaking. "SHE IS PREGNENT! PLEASE, I have to get inside. I have to protect her!"
But the officer held firm,Then, a voice rang out over the chaos. "You'll regret every single thing you've done!"My blood ran cold. It felt as if ice had spread on me , freezing me in place for a heartbeat. Time seemed to stretch, each second dragging painfully as I turned my head, my body moving in slow motion,My eyes scanned the crowd, a sea of panicked faces blurring together. But then I saw him high. Mr. Peter, He stood on the rooftop of the hospital, his dark figure casting a shadow over everything below.
My heart stopped for a moment. She was on the rooftop with him, her handsresting over her belly, protecting our unborn child. Her face was pale, her wide eyes filled with terror. She wasn't moving frozen, helpless.
My world narrowed down to that one image: Mr. Peter's gun aimed right at the woman I loved, the woman carrying my child.
The man who had destroyed so many lives, who had played me for months, now held my entire world in his hands.I forced myself to move, my legs shaky beneath me, but my voice was caught in my throat. Finally, I managed to shout, "Mr. Peter, no!"
But he didn't flinch. His eyes were locked on me, cold and unfeeling. He didn't even look at Sasha, as if she was nothing more than a pawn in his game
I could see a twisted smile forming on his lips. "You'll regret every single thing you've done," he called out, his voice dripping with malice.then he add "There's nothing left to talk about. I'm going to make you wish you were dead."
His words hung in the air, cold and final.
Without thinking, I tried to run for the door again, but the police officer grabbed my arm, holding me back. I was frantic now, my mind racing. I had to do something. I reached into my pocket, fumbling for my badge."I'm a secret agent!" I shouted, thrusting my ID in the officer's face
then i add "Let me in! I'm the only one who can stop this!"
The officer's eyes widened in shock. For a moment, he stood frozen, caught between the chaos unfolding around us and the unbelievable revelation I'd just thrown at him. His gaze flicked between the badge and my face, clearly unsure of what to do
I stepped forward, my body tense, my heart racing. "Please," I begged, my voice urgent, my whole body shaking with fear. "She's inside. My wife is in there! If I don't get in, she'll die. You have to let me through!"
Then, finally, his hand dropped. "Go," he said, his voice low but firm.
I didn't wait for him to say it twice.
Without another second wasted, I bolted through the entrance...
