Blood was everywhere—running down my arms, dripping from my nose and head. My vision swam, but I couldn't stop. Each breath burned, but I pushed through the pain, driven by pure survival instinct.

I turned just in time to see Mr. Peter hauling himself to his feet. He was bleeding heavily from the leg where Sasha's bullet had struck."You think this is over?" he spat, his voice raspy. He took a step forward and I knew this wouldn't end until one of us was gone.

Before I could react, his hand darted to his pocket. In one swift move, he pulled out a knife .  I twisted to the side, but he was fast. The blade sank into my stomach, a white-hot burst of pain exploding through my body. I gasped and my vision flashing red.

He twisted the knife, a  smile forming as he pushed me toward the shattered window. The broken glass around us glinted like jagged teeth.."You're done!" Peter hissed, his breath hot on my face as he forced the knife deeper. "You think you can stop me?"

The pain was blinding, but I wasn't done yet

The pain was blinding, but I wasn't done yet. Gritting my teeth, I let out a feral growl and grabbed his wrist, locking eyes with him. "You know what they say, Peter..." I spat blood, my voice a low, defiant rasp. "If you seek revenge... dig two graves."

But I didn't stop. I grabbed his arm, turned us around to the beside window , and pushed him hard into the window frame. The glass shattered, cutting both of us, but I didn't care. I growled and shoved him back again.

Peter was on the edge, his eyes wide with fear. He waved his arms, trying to grab onto something. "You think you can beat me?" he shouted, his voice full of anger and fear

"This ends here," I said, breathing hard. I pushed him harder, and he lost his balance.

For a moment, he hung in the air, his eyes locked with mine, full of shock. Then, with one last scream, he fell through the broken window. His scream faded as he disappeared beow.

I stumbled back, breathing heavily, holding my stomach where the blood was pouring out. The pain was terrible, but I forced myself to keep moving. I couldn't stop now. I had to make sure Sasha was safe

Dizzy and weak, I stumbled toward the door, each step harder than the last. My body wanted to quit, but my heart wouldn't let me.

Just as I reached the hallway, I fell to the ground, blood pooling around me. My vision blurred, fading in and out, but I heard voices in the distance—people rushing toward me. The sound of sirens cut through the noise. Help was on the way.

But none of that mattered. Sasha was safe. I had kept my promise.
With a weak smile, I let the darkness take over.
