Jimin welcomed his mother home, who immediately hugs her with a bright smile. Jimin, seeing the enthusiasm of his mother, smiled as well.

"What happened, Eomma? What makes you so happy?"

Jimin asked her as Jinha looked at him with her warm eyes.

"You make me so happy, Jimin. Today, the royal omega sent a proposal to me."

Jinha said with a smile, while Jimin looks at her in confusion.

"What proposal?"

Jimin asks her, and Jinha smiles, taking her son's hand in his.

"Prince wants you as his mate. They want you to marry Prince. You also like him, right?"

Jinha asked, and Jimin's lips twitched in upwards. He couldn't believe Jungkook wanted to mate him immediately.
 
"Yes, Eomma, I like him."

Jimin said, cheeks tinting pink for admitting his feelings.
 
"I knew it. You and Taemin have been friends for quite some time; it's natural for you to like him."

Jinha said, with a daydream smile, and Jimin immediately pulled his hand away from his mother, his smile vanished into a thin line.

"Prince Taemin? He wants to marry me?"

Jimin asks his mother. His omega is tearing apart at the new news. He thought it's Jungkook.

"Yes baby. Omega Yeonjun brought the proposal to me a few hours ago."

Jinha said, and Jimin shakes his head. He wouldn't marry anyone except Jungkook.

"I wouldn't marry him. I don't like Prince Taemin."

Jimin said, and Jinha looks at him with wide confused eyes.

"What are you saying, Jimin? Taemin is a good pup, and he'll keep you happy. You don't have to live in poverty anymore."

Jinha said, but Jimin kept shaking his head as no.

"Maybe he's a nice person, but I want Prince Jungkook. He's my fated mate, Eomma."

Jimin said, and the very moment there was a knock on the front door of their house.
 
"I'll check who it is."

Jinha said, still trying to digest the new information. Her son has a fated mate.

Jinha opens the door, and Jimin feels his omega stir in happiness when pine scents reach his nose. Jimin looks at the entrance of his house, and at that moment his eyes locked with Jungkook. An intense stare was passed in between them before Jungkook looked at the older omega.

"Aunt Jinha, can I have a moment with Jimin?"

The alpha asks, wanting to have the omega in his arms and apologize for his earlier behavior.

"Yeah, of course Prince Jungkook."

Jinha said, and Jungkook flashes a smile at her.

"Call me Jungkook. You don't need to use formalities anymore. I hope Jimin has told you, he and I are fated mates."

Jungkook said, and Jinha nodded her head with a small smile.

"I know it. I'll go to the market; till then, you both can talk."

Jinha said, taking leave hurriedly.

As the door closes behind them, Jungkook looks at the omega, who couldn't stop staring at him.

"Jimin…"

Jungkook whispered, and in an instant the boy was in his arms as they hugged each other tightly.

"Alpha."

Jimin mumbled, and the alpha tightened his hold on the omega.

"Forgive me, baby. I'm so sorry for my behaviour."

Jungkook said, and Jimin shakes his head after knowing his mate’s perspective from his mother-in-law.

"Your eomma told me everything. Please don't ask for forgiveness; it was all a misunderstanding."

Jimin said, and Jungkook broke the hug, taking Jimin's face in between his hands.

"But I'm still sorry for making you feel like I have rejected you."

Jungkook said, and Jimin gives him a nod with a small smile, indicating it's okay. Jungkook, sensing his omega's emotions, smiles and leans in to kiss Jimin's forehead, causing the boy to automatically close his eyes at the touch of his mate.
