Jinha smiles at the sleepy little Jimin. Her son hasn't made any fuses throughout the day, and she wonders why, but shaking her head, she looks at the gold coin that King has given to everyone who had attended the birthday party of the young prince.

"Now, I can buy clothes for Jimin and have some decent food."

Jinha thinks to herself and is about to hide the coins when the smell of alcohol reaches her nose. She grabbed a few coins, immediately hiding them under Jimin's blanket.

"Omega, where are you?"

She heard her alpha voice, and then Jinyoung appeared in front of her, looking like sh*t after having so many drinks.

"Alph—ah."

Jinha screams as a slap is landed on her cheek.

"Where were you? Why didn't you go to work?"

Jinyoung asks her, eyes burning with anger.

"I went to the Prince's birthday."

Jinha cries, her cheeks stinging with pain.

"Oh really? Then who will give me money for drinking if you go and party around."

Jinyoung grits his teeth, and then his eyes fall on Jimin.

"I should sell that f̶u̶cking child of yours. He looks like he'll present as Omega anyways."

Jinyoung said and made an attempt to grab Jimin, but Jinha pushed him hard on his chest.

"No a-alpha. He's our son; p-please don't do that. Take this c-coin and drink as m-much as you want."

Jinha said, showing the remaining coins in her purse. Jinyoung looks at the gold coins with a frown.

"How did you get so many coins? Are you f̶u̶cking behind my back? Are you having an affair with that Seojoon?"

Jinyoung accused her, and Jinha shook her head repeatedly with continuous tears falling from her eyes.

"A-Alpha, how can you say that? I'm not cheating on you. These coins are given as a return gift by our king. Please believe me, everyone got coins from the king."

Jinha pleaded to her mate, and Jinyoung looks at his mate with his dark eyes.

"If I knew you were lying to me, then remember the consequences will be worse for you."

Jinyoung said, grabbing the purse from Jinha and walking out of the house to fill his throat with more alcohol.

Jinha lays on the bed and cries her heart out. She ran away with Jinyoung, hoping to build a happy life with the alpha, and failed to notice Jinyoung's true nature. Her friends and parents have always told her to stay away from Jinyoung, but blinded in love, she never listens to them, and now she's facing the consequences of her actions, but amidst all the cruelty, she found happiness in her son. Her beautiful son. She hopes her son will present as Alpha and won't face difficulties like her.
