"Well Karina, everything is looking good so far. All your tests came back clear. Your pressure was a little high though. What do you eat?" Dr.V asked her.

"Well-"

"All she eat is hot wings and loaded fries. I tried to give her ass an apple the other day and she ain't want it." Chris said making Karina smack her lips.

"Chris, you the one who be wanting me to make the loaded fries."

"Yea for me. I bought yo ass all them fruits and vegetables to eat not loaded fries." Dr.V laughed at the two and shook her head.

"Karina, Chris is right. You should be eating fruits and vegetables. 2 servings of fruits and 5 servings of veggies." Chris made a 'told yo ass' face at Karina and rolled her eyes. "Buttttt protein is okay as well. Chicken, seafoods, beans and lentils, and lean meats." Karina made the same face at Chris. "But let's lay off the hot wings for a while."

"What?! Dr. V please!" Karina pleaded. Chris laughed and shook his head.

"She's an addict Doc." Karina playfully pushed his arm and he laughed again.

"Y'all are funny. I already know that baby will be well taken care of and loved with y'all two." Dr. V said as she closed her laptop. Karina and Chris smiled at each other. "Call if you ever have any concerns and make sure y'all make another appointment so I can check on you and the baby." Karina nodded and they left the doctors office.

"Chris, who house we at?" Karina asked as Chris parked the car and turned it off.

"It's nice?" He asked as he looked around. Karina looked around and nodded her head.

"It is but whose house is this?"

"You wanna see the inside?" Chris asked as he got out the car. Karina sighed and got out the car and followed behind Chris to the front door. He opened it and Karina opened her mouth and started to look around to see if anyone was looking at them.

"Bo- Chr- Jesus!" She quickly entered the home and closed the door while Chris laughed. Karina looked around at the beautiful home and walked beside Chris as they observed the house. "So who house we in?"

"Ours." Karina scrunched up her face and looked at Chris. She stopped walking.

"What do you mean ours? We're just fine at your home."

"See...you just said my home. We finna get married and have a baby that'a gon live there 24/7. We need our own shit."

"But Chris you've put so much into that home. You've been there so long and made it yours. We will be fine there." Karina said. Chris smiled faintly and grabbed her hands.

"Karina, baby...we about to be a family and I'm gon do anything and everything to make sure y'all straight. And I know y'all will be straight in a new home that's ours. Shit I can decorate this place and make it look similar to mines." Karina tucked in her lips and a tear fell from her eyes. "Come here." He pulled her close and hugged her as she cried softly.
