"Hey guys come on in!" Karina smiled brightly at Diamond and Lovely. Lovely ran to Karina to hug her and Diamond smiled.
"Here you go sis." Diamond said handing Karina a bag that wasn't too heavy.
"Thank you Diamond. Everyone is out back." Diamond smiled and grabbed Lovely's hand so they could go out back to see everyone that was there.
"Rina?!" Chris yelled as he walked in the house from outside. Karina followed his voice with her face scrunched up.
"Chris, stop all that yelling." She said as she walked towards him. He mocked her and laughed.
"I'm outside by myself and shit. What you doing in here?"
"Answering the door." Chris put his arm around her and walked her outside.
"I'll get security to do that shit. You need to be sitting down anyways." He walked her outside where everyone else was and pulled a chair for her. "You want sum to drink?" Karina nodded her head and he walked off already knowing what she wanted. Key and D walked over to Karina with smiles.
"Damn lil sis...you really finna have a baby." He said sitting beside her with his daughter in his arms. He handed Karina a fan cause he knew she as gonna complain about being hot soon.
"All my kids starting they own families. I'm proud of y'all...don't bring y'all ass to our house cause me and ya mama bought to live our best grown ass child free lives." D said causing Key and Karina to laugh. D gave her a plate of food and she thanked him. Chris came back over with a bottle of water and a ginger ale.
"Thank you baby." He kissed her forehead and walked over to his mom and Royalty.
"How you feel?" Key asked as he held a sleeping Key'Arra.
"I feel happy...at peace." She said as she ate a meatball.
"Glad to see y'all tying the knot soon and having a baby. Anymore bullshit from y'all and I was gon put both of y'all ass in a headlock." Key said causing D to laugh and agree. Karina smiled and continued to eat.
"Alright everybodyyyy we about to start the games. Where is the mom and dad to be?" Ashley said on the microphone. Karina sighed deeply because she just started to eat the rotel dip but she got up and walked towards Ashley and Chris. "Okay so the first game we're going to play is Baby Food Race."
"Hell no." Chris said shaking his head making everyone laugh.
"Oh hush Chris. Anyways so let's have 4 teams of two come to the front please. Don't be shy." Karina smiled as she saw Joyce and Clinton, D and Trina, Akil and Janiyah, and Diamond and Nia. "Yessss and of course Karina and Chris." Everyone clapped their hands. "So boom this is how it's gonna go, Both of you will be blindfolded but only one of you will be feeding baby food to the other. Who ever finishes their jar of baby food first wins." Karina automatically looked at Chris and gave him a face that let him know that he will be eating the baby food. He smacked his lips and shrugged in defeat.
They all sat across from each other and was blindfolded by Ashley and Andre.
"Karina?" Chris said.
"Yes darling?" Karina said holding back a laugh.
"You know where my mouth is?" Karina laughed and she put her hand up so she could feel around for his mouth. She accidentally poked his eye and he cussed. "Shit- see you already fucking up." Karina held her side because she was laughing so hard.
"Chris you making me nervous stop. I got you." Karina said.
"Alright y'all ready?" Everyone said yes and Ashley counted down. "3...2...1...GO!" Karina put the baby spoon in the baby food and slowly went to Chris's face. She hit his chin and he just opened his mouth and leaned down to grab the food.
"This shit nasty. Baby bring the jar to my chin." Karina did as told. "Now feed me." Karina did as told and it was way easier this way. In no time they were finished.
"And we have a winnerrrr!" Karina and Chris took off their blindfolds and Karina laughed at all the baby food on his chin and mouth. She grabbed a napkin and wiped him clean. He kissed her and everyone cheered. "Okay next game is pass the pacifier. Kids y'all can join in too so don't be afraid." Ashley said with a smile. "Okay get into 3 groups of 5 ." Karina grabbed Chris, Royalty, Aeko, and Key. She saw Trina,Joyce, Diamond, Nia, and Clinton in a group and D,Janiyah, Akil, Key's baby mother, and Ammika. "Alrighttttt so everyone is going to get a straw and everyone is going to use their straw to get the pacifier from one end to the other."
Everyone nodded and Chris stretched.
"Chris baby...what are you stretching for?" Karina asked.
"This is about to get serious. We winning everything today." Karina laughed and saw Royalty who was shaking her head and laughing too.
"Alright y'all ready? 3...2...1...GO!" Aeko started off and quickly handed it to Royalty. She moved a little slower to make sure it didn't drop and then she handed it to Chris. As Chris was handing it to Karina, they heard cheering across them and he stopped with a mug on his face. "Team 2 wonnnn!!"
"Hell nah y'all cheated. Ain't no way y'all beat us." Chris said causing everyone to laugh. Trina and Joyce high fived each other and laughed at Chris.
After a few more fun games, it was time for the gender reveal. Ashley was the only one who knew the baby's gender and it was one of the hardest things she had to keep a secret. Once she found out the baby's gender, she cried from happiness and immediately started ordering things for the baby shower/gender reveal. Chris and Karina stood on the grass hand in hand smiling at each other. There were two confetti cannon machines on the side of them and they stood excited for the gender reveal.
"Here you go Karina and Chris." She handed them the remotes to both cannons and got out of the cameras frame. "Alright i'll count y'all off." Karina nodded and wiped a tear from her eye. "3...2...1!" They pressed the button and the air was filled with blue confetti. Everyone screamed and Chris jumped up and down while Karina cried. The closer the baby's due date the more Karina cried. Chris hugged Karina tight and whispered sweet things in her ear. When he let go he went to the camera.
"I told y'all niggas!! I told y'all niggas! Y'all thought I was playing but I told y'all niggas!" Chris said excited and Karina laughed hearing the video reference.
Once the excitement settled down a little bit, they all went inside and upstairs to watch a movie. Everyone was staying for a a big family sleepover so after the movie, everyone scattered around the house. Karina went upstairs and got into the shower and then put on night clothes to get in the bed. As she was dosing off, she felt the bed sink a little bit and lips kiss her shoulder and then her cheek.
"The stench I smell is about to suffocate me and our son. Please go bathe before it be a sad Valentine's day." Karina said with her eyes still closed. Chris pinched her butt and she laughed. Chris got up and went into the shower and when he came back Karina was knocked out. He went to her side to kiss her forehead and her belly.
"I love you." He whispered and left the room to check on everyone else.
